Embark on a two-week, volunteer adventure trip in Kenya! This trip is the perfect opportunity for participants to experience the touristic areas of the Maasai Mara and Diani Beach, as well as to lend a hand to the local communities. Participants begin in Limuru, with volunteer work at a local school. On the fourth day, they will work in a community center and assist individuals with physical challenges, including those with disabilities and those affected by HIV. Following their volunteer days, participants will head to the Maasai Mara to meet tribe members and enjoy a safari. They will then travel down to the beautiful Diani Beach region for a relaxing beach weekend.

Maasai Mara measures 1,510 km2 in terms of land area. Such vastness requires assistance when it comes to running conservation initiatives. Thus, local conservationists seek volunteers to help with vital monitoring and research. Your role in this wildlife research and conservation project involves conducting game counts, monitoring big cat populations, and collecting accurate data in the Pardamat Conservation area. Join daily game drives to track elephant sightings as well as identify and monitor wild dogs, cheetahs, and lions. The project welcomes both qualified and non-qualified volunteers. Any experience or qualifications in education, conservation work, environmental science, or another related field ensures a higher level of involvement. Otherwise, you can work across all areas and undergo training for any compulsory duties. Flexibility, a positive attitude, and the willingness to work as part of a team are important.

Volunteers and interns work with local communities to provide veterinary and animal husbandry services. They can also work in wildlife sanctuaries. This program is open to individuals with a keen interest in veterinary services. We work hand in hand with government ministries in placing them in specific communities and centers in dire need of assistance. They can choose from these projects: - Olpajeja conservancies - Lake Nakuru National Park - Ministry of Livestock The work involves data collection, analysis, animal care, community outreach education, and other related duties. Participants collaborate with professionals and, in the case of wildlife conservation, with rangers. Weekends are free for excursions and socializing. Volunteers and interns have access to all amenities including hospitals, clubs, banks, ATMs, swimming pools, excursions, clean water, full board, and accommodation, among many others.
