Join us in Botswana’s rugged Central Tuli region for a unique Working Safari, in partnership with the Netherlands-based Stichting Timbo Afrika. Volunteers stay in dome tents along the Limpopo River—home to roaming elephants—at Harena River Camp. You'll take part in hands-on conservation efforts such as protecting trees from elephant damage, sealing erosion gullies, and removing invasive plants to help restore native grasslands. Daily activities involve 4–5 hours of team-based fieldwork. Outside of work hours, you'll enjoy game drives, bush walks, wildlife tracking, and cultural exchanges with local communities.
