The course trained me to be an effective EFL teacher. The course was described as intensive with lots of opportunities to practice with real EFL students. I learned new teaching strategies and skills. I am better prepared to teach in front of new students. The observations of other classes were very helpful. My teaching was evaluated fairly, and I got good feedback. Trainers wanted us to succeed and provided a safe and engaging classroom environment. My opinion of Guadalajara is that it is the best city I have been to.

Covered everything I expected and more. I wasn’t expecting it to be so intense, but I’m glad it was. 10 practices gave me plenty of experience in an unfamiliar environment. The course met my expectations. Intensive should be in all caps. I found the segment on how to teach online enjoyable and useful. It opened my horizon to attempt online. The practical training surpassed my expectations. My opinion of Guadalajara is that it’s scenic, calming, open.

I would say the course exceeded my expectations. The knowledge was very dense, but with the help of our teachers it was digestible. Teachers have excellent time management and are very knowledgeable. Observations were insightful. I did appreciate observations before teaching because I was able to essentially “copy/paste” the instructors. Mr. Ruiz is truly a stand out teacher. Not only in our class, but in his IMAC class. Ms. Iñiguez is loving, caring, and so resourceful. She always answers messages and truly wants you to succeed. My opinion of Guadalajara is that it’s beautiful! vibrant! welcoming! My message as someone who has taken the course is stay organized, stay focused, stay motivated. Remember to eat, sleep and enjoy yourself whenever possible. Be proactive.

It is a very complete course with a lot of useful resources for the future. The material is very good organized and has a lot of examples. It was really good for me to have a grammar review because even if I use English to communicate I studied grammar a long time ago. Miss Magdaleno and Miss Iñiguez are so professional and warm teachers, was a pleasure to work with them. My opinion of Guadalajara is that it is a beautiful city with a lot of history, is not a small town but it is not big enough to be chaotic. Don’t let this opportunity go, if it is what you want, you will enjoy the process even if it is challenging.

I went to Barcelona for my TEFL class in 2019 because I wanted to tour graduate schools to find the master's program of my dreams. I was nervous about traveling alone internationally for the first time and thought that it would be a waste to be in Spain for over a month with nothing to show for it when my trip came to an end. That's when I decided that getting TEFL certified would be a great way to spend my time in Barcelona between college visits; as a bonus, I could teach English on the side when my program starts. I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I nervously excited booked my flight and started my TEFL journey. When I arrived in Barcelona my TEFL advisors had already helped me set up housing with these two lovely girls who welcomed me and gave me tips about the city. One of the girls was even a graduate of ITA. She was so helpful and gave me advice on my coursework and even let me practice some of my skills with her. My TEFL instructors we wonderful people and even better teachers. I learned more in my one-month TEFL program than I did in most of my college courses. After my TEFL course ended I went back home to the States and continued working to save money for my master's program. I moved to Barcelona in 2020 during the middle of the pandemic and because of my TEFL certificate, I was able to teach English online to pay for my rent and other expenses for the next two years. During that time I met my partner who just so happened to also be a TEFL-certified English teacher. We bonded over our teaching experiences, traveling, and the fact that we both taught for the same online English tutoring platform. Currently, we live together and teach in Seoul, South Korea. Since moving here I have paid off half of my student debt from my Master's program and will have the other half paid for by the end of my contract. ITA has allowed me to meet wonderful people, graduate with a Master's, find the love of my life, live and teach in South Korea, and pay off all of my student debt. I will be forever grateful.

I have a great experience with ITT. Their service is the best. My tutor Stacey was always there in the chat room when I needed help with quiz. They also help you to find a job and I am now teaching online. When pandemic finish I want to work in a school. I recommend to my friends this course.

There are so many TEFL course providers out there, it becomes overwhelming. I was on a tight budget so was looking for a course for around $100, that offered tutor support and job support. I was happy that I found ITT, they offer all the above mentioned and lived up to it. Tutor support was great and they referred me to Itutor group. I've been working for them the last couple of months and earn around $1000 a month which isn't bad for a part time job. Thank you ITT for all your support.
