The short version of my amazing trip

Spending one week in Uganda in 2016, it was enough to make me go back for six weeks a year later. I went all around the country seeing all it had to offer, safari at Murchison falls, white water rafting the Nile, zip lining through the forest, but my favourite part was seeing all the different organisations that they work with to place volunteers. I've been on multiple volunteer experiences but nothing challenged me and my perspectives in the same way, especially in such a short period of time. Not only did I feel completely immersed in Ugandan culture but I learnt so much. The most immersive and inclusive trip

I was in Uganda for a only a week but man, I feel the NEED to go back. I never went in with the mentality of 'saving people' like so many other foundations claims to do! But little did I know that the people I met and worked with were the real heroes. It opened my eyes to their passion for life, their amazing food and how they work in nature. I will be forever grateful to the Real Uganda for letting me experience the beautiful Ugandan culture!
