MAXIMO NIVEL

I really enjoyed my course with Máximo Nivel! I feel that the course prepared me well and gave me the necessary experience and support to become a successful teacher. It was intensive, however, very flexible, which allowed me to do this course while working full-time. I found the practical teaching part of the course particularly beneficial, as I received feedback after each of the five lessons and was able to reflect on the feedback to better teach my next lesson. My instructor, Sean, was very responsive and gave helpful advice throughout the course. Now that I have finished my course, Sean has also been very helpful and has given me lots of career advice and suggestions for jobs. I highly recommend Máximo Nivel for the online TEFL certification!!

I was incredibly fortunate to have taken the TEFL class at Maximo Nivel in Antigua Guatemala. What a fantastic class! It was rigorous in a way that you wanted to learn and work hard. The teacher, Rebecca, was one of the best I’ve ever had. She made the content so engaging and hands-on, and modeled her teaching in a way that showed us the engaging ways to teach our English students. The practical teaching we were able to do with Guatemalan students was so fun and so helpful and I learned so much. I highly recommend this course.

I first came to Maximo without speaking any Spanish. All of the staff is very nice and helpful regarding any problems or questions you might have. In my 4 weeks there, I learned a lot. I can now most of the time understand things when people are speaking in spanish or I at least get the context. The class was a nice mix of speaking, listening and writing and all new things got practiced in conversations right away. I really enjoyed my time there!
