Experience Required

Volunteers in India must be at least 18 years of age (17 with parental consent) and may sign up individually, as couples or in groups. The primary qualification that is required: to come with an open-mind and be motivated to help needy people. A reasonable level of English is also required, as is a responsible, enthusiastic, and compassionate attitude. For our Teaching Project specifically, whilst experience in teaching and education will certainly be advantageous, it is not a prerequisite as your level of involvement within the classroom can be tailored to suit your own skills and interests.
