I wan to to highlight the nice experience taking 120 hrs TEFL Course!. It was easy going, clear, and I learnt about interesting issues to introduce in my english classes. I am teaching social sciences in english to Spanish speakers, so the course was of a great help. I have to thank all the ITTT staff for theirs answers to every question about admission, etc. I am anthropologist and I approached to this discipline because of my interest to other cultures, and of course my approach to English culture when I decided to learn the language when I was very young. I will have this new TEFL course as an important achievement and step in my career and in my life. Thank you. Regards to all ITTT community.

I really enjoyed my tefl/tesol online course. I admit it was tough but challenging for me. It was definitely informative and helpful.I studied real hard to pass the exams and did my best to submit a satisfactory lesson plan. I am so happy to be successful.
A great experience

TESOL Certification from IEL360 was made special for me for a number of reasons. 1 The group of people doing the course with me, 2 The instructors, Ms Diem in particular, a very thorough, competent and sweet lady.
From going to school everyday to train, to the teaching practice sessions and the fun I had with the group combined with experiencing Ho Chi Minh City for the 1st time was exhilarating, intense and one of the best experiences of my life.

Overall, I had a very rewarding experience at IEL360 in Ho Chi Minh City. I actually went into the class already TEFL certified but I only had an online certification. I wanted real life experience teaching before I stepped into my first classroom. The teaching practices helped me tremendously in getting comfortable talking in front of students. Observers also gave great feedback, good and bad. My classmates were great, we all hung out together during the course and really formed a bond which helped us all get through the course. I can't say enough about the teachers as well. They were all great and really wanted us all to succeed and help their country for the better. I would highly recommend ITTT to anybody who wants quality training in teaching English abroad.

Decent cert that gives you a job.

This review is a retrospective for any would-be TEFLers having any trepidation about the effectiveness of this program. I received my certificate from ITTT in 2012 and used in conjunction with my non-language BA to obtain work.
Let's make one thing clear: There is no substitute for in-class training. The ITTT TEFL cert, by its very nature, does NOT provide this. I had the good fortune of taking the ITTT course while I was working as an assistant in Japan several years ago. This made the experience essentially a hybrid course.
That out of the way, ITTT is what I recommend to TEFL hopefuls who aren't sure they want to make it a career, but want a qualification to legitimately put into their resume without investing the thousands into a CELTA. This certificate has been accepted by organizations in Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Given that Saudi Arabia and UAE have all kinds of issues with documentation, especially online ones, this should be reassuring to those seeking the relatively higher salaries there (it doesn't hurt that the certificate itself doesn't specify that it was conducted online!). If you want a cert that will tick the checkbox of "Teaching Qualification" that allows you to obtain a job and visa to legally reside - you could do much worse.
However, keep in mind that most employers these days require an actual college degree as well, and the better paying positions (such as British Council) will take nothing less than a CELTA! The job pool is getting more competitive as well.
As for the course itself, I wouldn't consider it particularly exhaustive or rigorous, but it was relevant, applicable and there ARE standards to meet. My tutor Tania, while feeling somewhat distant at times, often gave quite useful feedback directly reflecting what I had submitted to her. For instance, she once handed back a less-than-stellar lesson plan by giving constructive feedback about WHY it didn't work within the course objectives specified by ITTT and forced me to re-do it. Even so, not all assignments are as scrutinized - looking at my "independent research article" that I submitted for my final assignment, I cringe at how poorly written, organized and full of embarrassing gaffes it was. So, it's not the highest bar to cross, but you can't get away with blatant BS either!
If there is a weakness to the program, it's what happens after you finish. The certificates and paperwork are all of reasonable quality and are delivered promptly, at least. What doesn't impress me are how ITTT helps passing students find work. Almost all the jobs they advertise are on the low end of the pay scale and one would be better off utilizing other TEFL job-hunting sites. Given how many resources there are for job-hunters, this is a relatively minor quibble, but a quibble nonetheless. What I will say in their favor that, lately, they have been uploading some good information on their Youtube channel about the various criteria different countries have for legal employment.
Overall, a program that does what it sets out to do and serves as a decent refresher course.

Real learning at your own pace with good resource material. For sure, a door opener for job opportunities. It could be a better experience with the help of tutors. My course was an online course. It was enough for my current needs.

Took this course to get licensed to teach English and Japan and it was very helpful and well structured.. I would highly recommend UNI-Prep to anyone who teaches English as a Foreign Language, as the course will provide you with many of the skills needed to teach effectively.
120 Hour Online Course

I decided to take this course because I'm planning to teach here in Japan. A friend of mine is the one who referred me to this website. This course is very convenient for people who are working and trying to get a certificate because this can be finished online on your own time.
Taking this course gives me a background on how to teach English as a second language. The units that the course provide are very detailed, it also refreshes the memory of the lessons I've learned in my English class while I was still studying.
For those who want to get a certificate but doesn't have time to go to a class, this course is highly recommended!
Thank you so much to ITTT for providing this kind of course.

I found that the iTTT 120 hour (with tutor support) TEFL training course was an excellent choice. The course content was clear, well structured and interesting. The support and feedback received from the iTTT team was also very good and I am looking forward to continuing on with the English for Specific Purposes - Business English training course.
Completing my ITTT course
Submitted by Muriel Ruth Newbould - Open University | September 01, 2015
I have just completed the online International TESOL and TEFL training course and I will be receiving my certificate in the post in about 2 weeks' time.
The course was excellent and very enjoyable, although, at the same time, rather demanding and not terribly easy.
I feel that I have achieved a most worthwhile accomplishment and would like to thank the ITTT team so much for helping me to complete the course.
