Institute for Education in International Media

Established in 2001 by Andrew Ciofalo, Institute for Education in International Media (ieiMedia) specializes in study abroad programs. These are offered to English-speaking college students, as well as recent graduates of all disciplines and from all schools. Our course offerings encompass a wide arc of creative arts and communication, including long-form magazine writing, opera performance and production, playwriting and acting, and documentary video and photography.

Students learn from award-winning professional communicators and highly experienced professors from leading American universities. Ongoing college students take transferrable credits through our accredited academic partners, while recent graduates can enroll in noncredit courses; though this option is also available to college participants. They take further strides as global citizens and communicators through an internship abroad, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge and learned skills in a real work setting.
