I had a great time with MundoLengua! Everyone was really nice and adjusting to Spain went well. My Spanish definitely improved because we used it every day, and the classes were actually interesting most of the time. Staying with a host family was one of the best parts because I got to experience what life in Spain is really like. The activities were fun and you don’t spend much time here bored. I would 100% recommend MundoLengua to anyone thinking about studying abroad. It was an experience I’ll never forget!

I had a marvellous time in Sevilla

Spanish language adventure!
March 05, 2026by: Mara Matthes - United StatesMy husband and I lived in Sevilla for 2 months. We attended Spanish language classes 4 days a week for 4 hours. Our profesore, Lidia, was professional, patient and fun to work with. The rest of the staff were encouraging and friendly. We highly recommend Munro Lingua to anyone looking to improve their Spanish skills.
My Experience in Seville with Mundo Lengua
November 13, 2025by: Omosomi Imomoh - SwitzerlandProgram: Spanish Immersion Programs in Spain for High School Students
Honestly, it was an amazing experience. I really enjoyed my time there. The city was wonderful and so were the activities we did. Of course, like any trip there were ups and downs, like language barriers, but most of the time we were able to solve and adjust to the situations. If we weren’t able to we always had someone to reach out to. All in all it was a very worthwhile trip.

Excellent high school Spanish immersion summer program in Sevilla & Cadiz
July 08, 2025by: Kiley Everett - United StatesProgram: Spanish Immersion Programs in Spain for High School Students
Centro MundoLengua put together an excellent high school immersion program for our daughter. She stayed in both Sevilla and Cadiz for a total of 3 weeks with 2 different host families. Her Spanish greatly improved being immersed in the language along with classroom time. She participated in so many great activities highlighting the Spanish culture, history, and food. She participated in all the excursions to other cities as well. I highly recommend this program!

July 04, 2025by: Suzanne Parsa - United StatesProgram: Spanish Immersion Programs in Spain for High School Students
My son had a fabulous time on his recent MundoLengua school trip to Seville, Spain. The classes were not only educational, but fun and engaging. The activities planned were super fun and appropriate to his age and interests. Their guide, Elena, was very friendly and energetic. His host mom, Ana, could not have been kinder, so sweet and very attentive to his needs. She definitely went above and beyond which is a great feeling when your child is in the care of someone else in a different country. I wish I had some constructive criticism to give, but there is none, it was perfect!! In my son's words, it was the best money I have ever spent!!!

When I arrived in Seville everything was arranged for me to be picked up and all of the staff were really nice. My host family is really kind and we talk about Spain and its differences with the U.S. She makes us meals everyday and her flat is really nice. All of the staff like Cesar and Diego have been nice work to make sure we are all good and having fun.
It was an epic experience, I’d do it again without hesitation.

I came not knowing the others that I came with very well, but after doing activities with them, we became very good friends and much more comfortable with eachother. I feel like I have become much more social and less anxious in general. The activities around Sevilla are always a blast and help you learn a lot about the beautiful city as well as help you bond with others through laughter.
Great activities, great people.

This was my first time going to Spain and I fell in love with the country the minute I took my first step. The programs were very fun and helped me use my Spanish skills so I can learn more. The host family was very kind to me and my roommate. They made sure we were having a good time and made us wonderful meals. The education was a bit of a challenge but it’s important that I have a class that can make you good in Spanish.

My experience in Spain
September 16, 2024by: Gerardo Rodriguez - United StatesProgram: Study Abroad | Intensive Spanish | University of Cadiz Spain
I had such an awesome and unforgettable experience with this program. The program provided such a great experience and opportunity to experience Spain at its fullest. I also want to give a special thanks to Marta for being such great help on recommending places to eat and have fun across many cities in Spain. Also enjoyed Martas company not only to me but my class mates that needed help wether it had something to do with class, housing, recommendations, and emergencies. As a native Spanish speaker, still felt like I learned a lot from the Spanish language that I will carry on at home. The culture was amazing, loved all the social interactions I had in Spain and learned a lot of slang and customs that are practiced here. And lastly the food was amazing, love trying food across the globe and Spain for sure checked the box.
absolutely amazing!

I loved everyone here, the people, the teachers, the people I was with, just the experience was amazing. I don't want to leave at all. the residence I stayed at was amazing, the mom/ head lady brought her son and dog with her, and it was so much fun. I desperately don't want to leave, and I'm definitely gonna miss Spain.
What a complicated but amazing process!
July 12, 2024by: Devin Sanford - United StatesProgram: Spanish Immersion Programs in Spain for High School Students
Though there was much confusion and much struggle, I learned so much and had an overall amazing time. This may sound crazy but trying to learn a new language in an entirely different country isn’t the easiest thing to do. But it definitely improved my Spanish and forced me to be comfortable in an environment I’m not used to. Studying abroad is still for now out of the question, but I’ll will happily take this experience with me, forever.
Awesome experience outside of homestay
July 12, 2024by: Liam Allen - United StatesEverything aside from the home stay was absolutely amazing. The home stay was just okay, as I was paired up with a roommate I had next to nothing in common with. Overall, I would reccomend the program!
I stan Spain <3
July 12, 2024by: #atethatupFrom the incredible comida to the absolutely gorgeous edificios, it was the BEST time of my life! I love Spain and especially Seville, because its not like a bustling city nor a quiet town, its perfectly in the middle of both and I love it so much. My only advice would to bring a water bottle, cuz its HOT down here! Shout out to Hugo, Cesar, y Andrea!!! Love them so much <3
Mixed but overall good experience
July 11, 2024by: George Papa - United StatesProgram: AP® Spanish Summer Program in Spain
The living conditions and daily life are very different compared to what I am used to in the US. For example, air conditioning is not always a guarantee, so heat is a serious problem, both outside and inside your home. Incidentally I had some trouble sleeping at night simply because I am used to a much cooler temperature. Additionally, walking is the most normal form of transportation, so not bringing shoes designed for extended periods of walking caused my feet to hurt almost every day. I found the class activities rather odd (for example scavenger hunt) and felt that I could have spent my time better during class sometimes. Finally, showers. Due to the fact that I live in a country where water is not much of a problem, there was never a limit to my showers (granted I do not take “long” showers in my opinion). Additionally, there was always access to warm water. But showering in Spain is very different, where I was urged to take half as long while also dealing with getting used to cold showering, and that took some time to get used to. However, there are also positives to my experience. For most after school activities, I found them enjoyable. Additionally, the schedule was quite lax with lots of downtime to rest. The people were all very kind and I felt like I learned how to comfortably speak Spanish (albeit European Spanish). Finally, although the class is technically for people going into AP Spanish next year, I did feel like it was at my level in some ways. I could understand the content, and the cultural aspects they taught were interesting. Overall, I would give the experience a 7-8/10.
I will NEVER forget this

I cannot even begin to explain how meaningful this trip was to me. Our tour guide (marcos) that Centro Mundo Lengua (CML) gave my school (cranbrook) made the trip EVEN better. HUGE shoutout to Marcos-me and the rest of my school LOVED him! We made such personal connections with Marcos, and he helped my Spanish so much-(and I helped his English?) Marcos took us to so many cool places: Al Cazar, the cathedral , midnight bike rides , Cádiz , beaches in Portugal , and so much more. The itinerary was perfect and CML kept us busy, I loved meeting people from other schools and spending time with them during the activities. During classes, Hugo , the media director for CML came to us with an opportunity to submit a vlog of Sevilla for a vlog contest. I submitted a vlog and Hugo told me I won! I got an Amazon gift card and Hugo let me login to the CML Instagram and post vlogs on the story, I had so much fun doing that. Finally, the host mom CML paired me up with (Gladys) was AMAZING! She treated us with such great hospitality as if me and my roommate were her own daughters. She cooked the best Spanish dishes for us and I learned so much from her. This trip to Sevilla with CML changed my life- I will DEFINITELY be coming back with CML as a solo traveler next summer and extending my trip to Cadiz! Thanks again, Marcos , Gladys, Hugo, and everyone else I met on this trip. Hasta luego!
My host family was TERRIBLE
June 17, 2024by: Janett Pena Zamora - United StatesProgram: Study Abroad | Intensive Spanish | University of Cadiz Spain
Alicia Otero Cuesta was one of the worst human beings I’ve met in my entire life. From calling me names and stating that I’m disrespectful and uneducated to ruining my clothes when she only washed twice in an entire month to making me go hungry because she always reheated extremely small portions of food for my roommate and I while she cooked a decent meal for herself and husband. The following picture was our dinner after not eating for 7 hours because of course she didn’t give us any snacks.
Hello, Janett We are really sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience at the beginning of your stay. Thankfully we are glad, as per your final evaluation, that you get to make the most of your experience after we find you another host family. We hope that you can keep fond memories with the new family we found for you and with all the new friends that we are sure you will keep for the rest of your liv; and with all the learning you have built up while in Spain. Best regards, CML.

El contenido fue interesante y nuestra profesora Lidia también nos enseñó mucho. El programa de la tarde fue muy variado y fue fácil descubrir el centro de la ciudad de Sevilla. Además, también tuviste tiempo suficiente para mirar cosas individuales.

This study abroad/immersion is Spain truly gave me the opportunity to up my level of Spanish. This was something I had been looking for all along! The opportunity to converse with locals, live with a family to learn about Spanish culture and traditions in person! Meet people with the same passion for Spanish as you, force you to only use Spanish! And also the content taught in “school” truly fit with what I wanted and challenged me throughout and even was useful and interesting (culture, food, dialect/accent) etc. I like the fax they use placement tests to accurately put you with people with the same ability as you.

My experience with MundoLengua was very good. The teachers, class activities , and events were well organized, interactive, and fun. The activities ranged from historical walks in the neighborhood Santa Cruz, painting ceramics in Triana, and visiting the water park Isla Mágica. Meals were often eaten at home, with host families, but you were given the freedom to go out if you wished. Some of the activities finished pretty late, which was sometimes tiring. But at the end of the day I’m glad I got out to explore the city. The classroom environment was interactive and interesting. Spanish was spoken often in class, but the teacher would help you if you did not understand. I enjoyed the in-class activities, and was glad we didn’t go home with homework. :) I would recommend MundoLengua to anyone and everyone looking for an immersive, Spanish experience, found both in and out of a classroom setting.

We had the best time in Sevilla. Visiting Las Sepas, the Cathedral, Alcazar, and activities like ceramics and bike riding were so fun and culturally immersive. I definitely enjoyed more authentic activities such as the paella and ceramics, rather than game nights and movie night. School was pretty good overall, and we stayed consistently busy. I really enjoyed the out of classroom experiences we had during our school days such as going to the market or having conversations with Spanish students. Overall, we had an amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

Hola!

There are no words to describe my experience in Spain, in Cádiz, that could enunciate what my heart feels every day since. From the moment I knew I would be going, I knew I would have the experience I have been waiting a lifetime for. Every day was a new adventure, and in each city we traveled, I fell in love with the country again. My hope is to keep returning to the city I called home for two months, I could not imagine never seeing it again. My love is incandescent and I am so grateful to have these memories through Centro MundoLengua. I cannot imagine any other company doing better than what they had done for us.

My daughter absolutely loved her summer in Cadiz. The program was very well run and the administration was beyond accommodating and went out of their way to make sure the students received top notch learning experiences. Highly recommend the Cadiz program for a full immersion and language program. Beautiful city, easy to navigate and very little English spoken which really pushed the students to use their language skills. Excellent!
Thank you, Mary. We are glad that your daughter lived the real Spanish experience.

The Summer of My Dreams!
September 03, 2022by: Madison Sassaman - United StatesProgram: Study Abroad | Intensive Spanish | University of Cadiz Spain
I studied for 6 weeks in Cádiz, Spain with Centro Mundolengua and had the best experience of my life. While taking 2 intensive Spanish language courses at Universidad de Cádiz, my group travelled through southern Spain, had weekly cultural immersion activities, and spent our free time on the beautiful beaches and in the tranquil but lively city of Cádiz. Centro Mundolengua did an amazing job pairing me with a wonderful host family from whom I learned so much about Spain, the language, and the culture of Cádiz. Our program director was always available for any questions, advice, or simply to check in and make sure we were enjoying the program to the fullest extent. On our weekends, we travelled to the magnificent cities of Granada, Sevilla, and Córdoba and experienced the rich history and culture of Andalusia, along with our tour guides who knew everything there is to know about these cultural sites. Not only did I learn Spanish grammar and history within the classroom, but I was able to explore and leave feeling like an honorary Gaditana by the end of my program. Awesome summer in Spain!
July 14, 2022by: Sophia Sickler - United StatesProgram: Study Abroad | Intensive Spanish | University of Cadiz Spain
I absolutely loved my chance to study abroad in Cádiz. Living with a host family was awesome since I really got to immerse myself in Spanish culture and learn from them. In addition, I loved the excursions that MundoLengua planned for us since I got to see a lot of different cities in Andalucia - it gave me the ability to start to see what I loved so much about Cádiz and how unique all the parts of Spain are. I highly recommend this program because of the opportunities to speak Spanish in class and at home, explore parts of Andalucia, and learn about Spanish culture everywhere you go.
We are glad to read your words, Sophie. Knowing that Centro Mundolengua has helped you to discover Cádiz and Andalusia is what makes us work hard everyday on our studyabroad programs. We do our best to make sure that each student feels welcome during the study abroad in Cádiz. It was a pleasure to have you here at Centro Mundolengua and to have you as our social media ambassador ;)

I really did enjoy my stay in Cadiz and would love to do it again. The staff was amazing, the instructors were knowledgeable, and the food was fantastic! I know for a fact, that one truly has grown from an entire ordeal and wouldn't change a thing. If I could, I'd make it a point to visit Cadiz, through this program, every single year.
Tristan, we can’t thank you enough how grateful we are for your words. Your feeling once you are back home is what we look forward to when we are setting everything for our Summer programs for college students. We want our study abroad programs to be a life-changing experience for our students. We are really glad that Cadiz is now “that place” for you.

MundoLengua is an incredible program and I can't recommend it enough! My university in the United States has a longstanding partnership with MundoLengua and many of my friends that had been on the semester program in Sevilla with them had amazing things to say about the program wish is why I decided to go. I can confidently say MundoLengua lived up to those expectations and even exceeded them. I just got back from my 4 month study abroad program in Sevilla, Spain with MundoLengua and I can't say enough good things about the program. The staff was welcoming, attentive, friendly and helped us with all of our questions and concerns. Throughout the course of the program, the MundoLengua staff had great communication with us and made sure we were all doing okay throughout the program. We also had many activities and weekend excursions with MundoLengua where we were fully immersed into Spanish culture and learned about different cultural aspects. They made our transition to classes in Sevilla and living in homestays very seamless and helped us with anything we needed throughout the process. Anyone that does a MundoLengua program will be in great hands and I couldn't recommend their programs enough!
Cate, thank you very much for your words. Knowing that you “felt in good hands” give us the sense of being doing a good job when organizing semester abroad programs. We do our best to make sure that each student feels welcome during the study abroad in Sevilla program. It was a pleasure to have you here at Centro Mundolengua.
Two weeks immersion in Spanish language and Sevilla: I am in love with Sevilla now and I blame Centro Mundo Lengua
May 22, 2022by: Reinald Yoder - United StatesAm so pleased that I dedicated 2 weeks of a 2 month adventure in Spain to come to Sevilla and join the Centro Mundo Lengua family in order to improve Spanish and try to immerse myself in the culture, history, food, and people of Sevilla. The support of this creative, energetic, genuine team was central to these wonderful weeks. The teaching of language with some grammar and vocabulary but especially discussions in Spanish about culture, history and politics and the rhythms of life was both interesting and effective at helping me hear and try to speak spanish. As a beginning student I felt that I made significant progress under the guidance of my teacher and the center. The team maintained an ideal balance between offering ideas and providing space for us to explore on our own. They were flexible and understanding of the needs of visitors to Sevilla who want to explore the city as much as learn the language in classes! In my case, they helped me find truly challenging and immersive experiences ranging from a Flamenco Dance lesson, to cooking classes, to special tours of important sites (the best ones were offered by Antonio himself!!). The weeks were punctuated by spontaneous and planned outings for Coffee or Tapas or Wine Tastings that some of the CML facilitated or joined. (As a solo traveler this time, the social times were especially fun and meaningful and it is absolutely the case that all at CML are such friendly and resourceful and effective team-members that helped to make each day truly delightful.) I would not hesitate to encourage others to explore CML and Sevilla for all it has to offer– travelers, schools, teachers, students… anyone who wants to learn and have fun at the same time!

This program was excellent and I enjoyed every minute of it. The excursions and nighttime activities were so much fun and fully immersed us in the culture and daily life of Spain. The class was good for my level, but I would like smaller classes instead of having 20 people in my class. The group leaders, Sara and Ruben, were so much fun and helped me learn a lot about Sevilla. Lidia was such an amazing teacher and I felt like I learned a lot in the class.

i loved absolutely everything about this trip. my family was amazing and SO kind, the town we stayed in (seville) was beautiful and i always felt safe. I loved all of the excursions and even just walking around the streets was fun. I learned so much about not only the Spanish language but the people, the food, the culture, the history, and it helped me immensely with opening my mind and broadening my horizons. This trip was absolutely amazing and i wish we had more than two weeks.

June 20, 2017by: Carole Cadoppi - San FranciscoThis was such a successful trip and the parents were very very appreciative. I had high expectations, but the trip surpassed my wildest dreams in terms of being well organized, stimulating, well supervised and fun. I know the students learned a lot, and when they landed in S.F. they were already missing the winding, sultry streets of Sevilla, where they had much more freedom than they do at home, by the way. I will definitely organize the same trip for next year and I would be surprised if I were not deluged with applications, since happy students spread the word best. Private lessons while experiencing Sevilla

AP language and culture training, Madrid
December 11, 2016by: Sarah - United StatesThis program was an amazing resource for me and the people who ran it knew what they were doing! The cultural activities were well planned and informative. The academic portion was incredibly helpful for setting up lessons and plans for teaching not only AP classes, but techniques and ideas to bring into my regular level classes as well! I look forward to attending this program again in another location and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to gain some knowledge and tools for their own classroom use!
A memorable and invaluable experience!
November 16, 2016by: Sarah H - United StatesEverything was perfect! Ken Stuart was fantastic, better than all other instructors that I have worked with during my (numerous) hours spent at other workshops, classes, and PDs! He broke down the entire test, and also shared many ideas, activities, and tricks of the trade relevant to experienced as well as new AP Spanish teachers. Our guides and the cultural experiences they prepared for us were fun, informative, and unique; my only complaint being the lack of sleep caused by the worry that I might miss out on one of the adventures or experiences. I have kept in touch with the many friends I met, who are Spanish teachers from all over the world! David Hirsch was most helpful in every way and incredibly prompt in response to any question I had. THIS is the BEST APSI for AP Spanish and Culture! I will be back!
Phenomenal study abroad experiences
October 25, 2016by: Spanish Teacher - Santa FeI am a Spanish teacher and my students and I have both participated in CentroMundoLengua's programs. My students have had positive learning experiences which push their Spanish, but are also fun cultural experiences. I took part in the AP teacher training program this year in Madrid and can now say firsthand that it is a quality program. There is an excellent balance of academic information and cultural immersion activities. I learned so much! Gracias!
AP training for teachers
October 24, 2016by: Brenda De Leon - United StatesThis is a phenomenal program and I am hoping to complete it again in the future at a different location. I was in Madrid for two weeks and got to experience all the wonderful places I have taught my students about for the last two years. The training was and experience that has completely changed my vision when I teach, not only for the higher levels, but especially for my lower levels.
My cultural and linguistic immersion experience in Seville
October 21, 2016by: Anonymous - United StatesI am a teacher who participated in the summer AP program. I did not have a program at the school where I teach. I learned so much culture and practice my Spanish skills at the program. I was totally immersed in the language and culture. The living conditions were excellent. I learned how to set up the AP language and culture program and how to grade the test. There are The after class experiences were exceptional. It was so fun to learn to make paella, learn about the art and gain historical perspectives about the history of Spain. We attended a Flemenco dance performance and had time to explore the city with our guides who werewere unbelievably knowledgeable and friendly. I would like to do it again!
Outstanding learning
October 20, 2016by: Maylen Rafuls - United StatesI was fortunate to receive the SWCOLT Centro Mundo Lengua grant for study in Seville Spain this past summer (2016). The first week of cultural activities was unmatched in every aspect: our guide Antonio was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the connections between culture, history, literature, art, gastronomy. The experiential aspect of this week helped me to better understand cultural connections as well as the history of the Spanish-speaking world and provided me with a renewed enthusiasm for seeking out interdisciplinary topics and fascinating essential questions as the central focus for units for my AP courses. The second week focused on deepening my understanding of the AP Spanish Language and Culture test, assessment and grading as well as unit and lesson design. Ken Stewart masterfully led us to analyze and understand the different skills measured on the exam as well as gave us a deep understanding about how the free response sections of the AP exam are graded. We had a chance to collaborate with AP Spanish teachers from around the U.S. and the world to analyze student work samples and share lesson and unit ideas. All in all, I came back revitalized and ready to take my teaching to the next level by including more fascinating topics and more rigor in my planning and assessment.
Increíble experiencia

An amazing experience
October 18, 2016by: Catarina A - United StatesI could not be happier with the great experience I had at Centro Mundo Lengua. Their program was well designed and it incorporated a variety of fun, cultural and traditional experiences. The course was extremely informative and helpful. I came back to the classroom eager to teach my students all the new information I learned during the program. Everyone at CML was very helpful throughout the planning process and once I arrived. The staff was energetic, fun and caring. I was able to learn a lot from the great people at CML and also from the people in my group. Everyone shared wonderful and creative ideas that have been really helpful in the classroom. The location of the school is stunning. The class was located in the heart of Sevilla and I walked by the Giralda everyday. It was an amazing experience and with amazing people.
Centro Mundolengua
October 15, 2016by: Suzanne Tennent - United StatesProgram: AP® Spanish Summer Program in Spain
Headline: You will not find a better Spanish-language/cultural immersion program for your students or teachers than Centro Mundolengua. For the past seven years, our high school has been taking groups of Spanish-language students and teachers to Seville, Spain to participate in this extraordinary program. Each year, the participants (both students and teachers) come back raving about the classes, homestay experiences, and cultural activities in this safe and spectacular Andalusian city. Most remarkable is the staff, which is uber-organized, friendly, attentive, and qualified. The man at the helm, David Hirsch, has succeeded in creating an unparalleled, first-class program. (By the way, there are great financial benefits for teachers who take students.) I have been on the trip twice, once this past summer, and I cannot wait to go again.
Remarkable program
October 14, 2016by: SuadCentro Mundo Lengua offers their participants a remarkable and memorable experience. It is a program that is carefully put together for AP teachers as well as aspiring AP teachers. Both the cultural activities and the in-class AP training provide the tools and substantial information that will enrich your teaching. I also enjoyed collaborating and learning from fellow teachers within the classroom setting. It is without any hesitation that I would strongly recommend this program. I really look forward to being a part of this program again. David and everyone on his team have done an amazing job at making this an enriching learning experience!
Personal touches
October 13, 2016by: Lindsey Tyser - United StatesFrom start to finish, Centro MundoLengua's AP Summer Institute for Teachers in Sevilla was a fantastic experience. When I first signed up to attend the institute, communication from David and the rest of MundoLengua's staff was immediate. They were attentive in responding to emails and assisting me with "special case" situations. Upon arrival, I was welcomed with open arms by my host family, and the leaders of our cultural excursions, Antonio and Victor. These two men know Sevilla so well, and created excursions that were off the beaten path, as well as on it. No one wants to miss out on the big sites, but also getting an "insiders" view of Sevilla was an amazing bonus. Through the AP workshop portion of the program, I also learned a great deal of new strategies that I'm already using in my classroom. Centro MundoLengua really worked to tailor this experience to the needs and interests of the group, and for that reason I came away with new friends, new ideas, and a new appreciation for Sevilla.

I have taken students to Centro Mundolengua twice, and both times have been exceptional. David and his team go above and beyond every time. I HIGHLY recommend this program for any students, at any grade/level. They grow and change so much. As a Spanish Teacher, I was also able to be re-certified by AP Central while I was there. Centro Mundolengua offers so much. It is the best program that I have found and I have been in education for over 25 years.
A 5 star program
October 13, 2016by: Eglee - United StatesI have participated in Centro Mundolengua's program twice already and my experience has always been rewarding. David and his staff were very friendly and were committed to provide me with a comfortable and enriching experience in many ways possible. I attended classes in the morning with a high qualified AP instructor from the College Board (he not only walked us through the different parts of the exam but also gave us tons of ideas/activities to try in the classroom) and participated in cultural activities in the afternoon and night. They are always updating their cultural outings, so the second time I went to Seville with Mundolengua, I was exposed to a different Seville I did not get to see the first time I visited. We loved David, Antonio, Yaye, and the rest of Mundolengua's staff here at our school. We travel every single year with a group of students, and have never had any complaints. We are now organizing our trip number 7 for this coming summer. They know how to take care of the students and the teachers. I definitely recommend their program.

I'm currently in the process of now promoting Centro MundoLengua's summer student program to my students after I saw first hand the spectacular job CML does with kids. Fantastic program - I highly recommend it!
October 11, 2016by: Catherine M. - United StatesMy experience at Centro MundoLengua was absolutely fantastic. The cultural and language immersion was a perfect way to brush up on my Castilian Spanish and explore the history of beautiful Sevilla. The days were packed with cultural excursions to the Cathedral and Giralda, the Metropol Parasol, Flamenco museum and show, a Paella cooking class, and even a visit to the historic Triana. Everything was guided by incredibly knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff. They went above and beyond to deliver an organized program and answered all of my questions about the culture and history. I was so appreciative when the staff helped me organize weekend excursions too! On top of the amazing cultural experience, you engage in an academic program that is encouraging, enriching and helps remind you of why you went into the teaching profession. It gives you practical advice that you can take into your classroom right away. Additionally, the academic program allows you the network and create lasting relationships from teachers all over the world. I am so thankful for my experience at CML and hope to return in the future!

With the help of Centro Mundolengua, I was able to have the adventure of a life time and the most memorable semester of my college career. From the moment I landed, I knew I chose the right program. They were always more than helpful and welcoming to all of their students. Not only did CML find me the perfect host mom and plan multiple excursions, but they also were available at all times to answer any questions. Pre-AP Language and Culture 2016
July 28, 2016by: Sam T - Santa BarbaraI had the pleasure of attending Centro Mundolengua's 2 week summer program located in Sevilla, and the entire program is one of the most memorable experiences of my entire life. Right away at the airport, I easily found and was greeted by Mundolengua staff, and was received by my excellent host family and roommate. Every excursion was something to remember, from a simple walk through the city to climbing La Giralda to having una lucha de espada lazer in front of La Plaza de España. I had plenty of opportunities to improve my Spanish during class with my excellent teacher, as well as just talking with the helpful and friendly Mundolenga staff. I'm inspired to continue my language learning journey, and feel that this experience has given me a new and good perspective on the world. To any students considering studying with Mundolengua, I highly recommend doing so, if possible.

During the second week, we had the pleasure of working with Ken Stewart who shared his knowledge on the AP exam and offered great strategies and numerous resources to make the course successful for our students. The home stay was fantastic; food was varied, delicious and my host mother catered to my dietary needs. There were always night activities planned for the group and this was a great way to get to know the city and the participants in the program. David Hirsch and his staff go above and beyond to make your experience truly amazing and worth while. My first trip to Spain would not have been as beneficial without Centro Mundolengua. The program was without flaws from the moment I met my host family to the day I stepped on the plane heading home. I was a little hesitant about classes at first, but the teachers and staff at Mundolengua were so welcoming and helpful, I began to love class and looked forward to going to school every morning. My host family, teachers, and guides did not speak very much english, so I had no choice but to learn how to communicate, which was essential to the language immersion. The constant conversation and listening played a huge part for me to better understand and use Spanish. The Centro Mundolengua program was fantastic and I'm so glad I was able to take part in it.
Wonderful experience!
May 29, 2016by: SunshineAndSiestas - United StatesProgram: Gap Year Program in Spain
I had an amazing semester in Seville through Mundolengua. They did a great job at familiarizing my group with the city right away. Something I thought was a great feature of the program was that they picked me up from the airport and they provided me with a metro card every month to get to and from UPO. I also thought the staff was extremely supportive and caring. I needed a doctor's appointment and the Housing Director did everything for me, and a staff member accompanied me to the clinic and everything! I only have a few suggestions for next year. There was a good three months where the wifi was out in the main office. I found this to be very frustrating at times because Mundolengua is an academic institution and I should be able to have access to wifi in the main office, especially with the fee that I paid for the program. Another suggestion I would like to make is to provide the foreign students with opportunities to meet Spaniards. The classes at UPO were very isolated, and there's only so much intercambios you can do (they also seem like forced friendships). I would suggest maybe providing a class that Spaniards can also take, or providing an English class for Spaniards that the foreign students can assist with. Placing us in settings with other Spaniards would help a lot with social life and cultural integration.

May 17, 2016by: karen r - United StatesI enjoyed a phenomenal experience as an AP Spanish teacher through the Centro Mundolengua Program in Sevilla, Spain. I hadn't taught AP Spanish in over 5 years and I needed training for the new curriculum and AP Language & Culture test. I couldn't have chosen a better program than CML. Our first week was devoted to cultural immersion. I stayed with a host family in the old quarters of Sevilla which allowed me the opportunity to walk everywhere. Our group was led by Antonio Cuaresma, an experienced educator & guide, who introduced us to a wide variety of cultural experiences in Sevilla. From cooking classes in Triana to flamenco dance lessons, we learned first hand about the culture of Sevilla and Andalucia. Cultural events were scheduled in the evenings, too. We enjoyed an open air concert in the park at the Alcázar as well as a professional flamenco show. The second week was an intense in-class training led by Laura Zenke, one of AP's leading trainers. Laura provided us with all the necessary materials to cover the different themes and topics as well as practice actually taking sections of the new AP test. A number of the participants were experienced AP teachers, some of whom were AP exam readers, and they provided practical advice, ideas, and examples for us to take back to our program. The two week program was quite a motivational professional development program that truly helped me back into the AP classroom. I would highly recommend the program to both inexperienced as well as experienced Spanish AP teachers.
Best study abroad experience!
May 16, 2016by: Selena MooreProgram: Gap Year Program in Spain
Centro Mundolengua truly helped me have one of the best semesters of my college career. The day I landed in Seville, Spain I was met by people who I could tell would help me have a wonderful trip. From my wonderful host mom, planned excursions, group meals to 24 hour assistance, CML has created a perfect study abroad experience. My Spanish improved drastically and I developed a love for the culture. I would recommend this program to anyone regardless of their Spanish language skills.

Two-week high school program
May 13, 2016by: Suzanne Tennent - United StatesWe at Cranbrook Kingswood in the metro Detroit area love, love, love this program, and do not even consider others, quite frankly. We have participated every summer since 2009, I believe, with groups of about 15 - 20 students and two chaperones. The personalized attention ahead of time is excellent, as is everything from then on. Students and teachers have a variety of educational and cultural activities, and wonderful host family experiences. Everyone comes back from the trip raving about the program and Seville.
Not just excellent, outstanding!
May 13, 2016by: Alejandra Lejwa - United StatesI went to Seville to attend the AP Span Lang and Culture institute on 2014. It was the best training I ever had. Extremely well organized, super professional. All teachers are expert on the teaching and learning of the Spanish language, culture and literature. They had plenty of cultural activities, all connected to what we were working during class time. It was an excellent experience. The city is amazing, full of culture and history, food was excellent, my hosting family was extremely friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend Centro Mundo Lengua and his staff to any teacher. David and his group are outstanding.
Best Semester of College
April 05, 2016by: Aaron - United StatesProgram: Gap Year Program in Spain
I can never stop raving to all of my friends about my spring semester in Sevilla with MundoLengua. It was honestly the best semester of my college career. Spain is fantastic to begin with, but CML is a unique program provider that enhanced my experience compared to any other option. They are awesome, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable people who always keep their students busy with fun cultural and social activities, as well as a number of planned excursions both within the city and without. Academically, in addition to their partnerships with Spanish universities, they provide their own high-quality classes taught by MundoLengua professors, and also have agreements with local companies and organizations in order to provide their students with internship and volunteer opportunities. All of these aspects of the program were incredibly educational and fulfilling experiences, and when I left Sevilla, I felt like I was leaving home. But I look forward to going back as soon as possible!
Centro Mundolengua: Madrid
March 22, 2016by: Carlos - United StatesProgram: Spanish Immersion Programs in Spain for High School Students
I had the time of my life in Madrid, all thanks to Centro Mundolengua. I feel like I learned more Spanish in one week than in all my years of studying Spanish in school. We had so many engaging activities, and we really got to see Madrid for the beautiful city it really is. I cannot thank them enough for this amazing trip.

Semester in Sevilla
March 18, 2016by: Cara - United StatesProgram: Gap Year Program in Spain
I studied abroad with Centro MundoLengua for the spring semester of my sophomore year and I can't imagine going with any other program! This was my first time traveling internationally and the program directors were so helpful in organizing everything from picking me up from the airport to providing an amazing homestay and making sure I got all of the classes I needed. This program offers a unique experience to truly become immersed in the amazing culture of Sevilla and have a blast doing so. They organized weekly events to get to know the city and even helped me plan some of my weekend trips to other countries. It was clear that they made it a main priority to make sure that we were having the best possible experience. Living in a homestay and attending a Spanish university helped me improve my Spanish language skills immensely and allowed me to excel when returning back that Fall. If you love travel, amazing food and warm weather Sevilla is the perfect city for you and this program will definitely help you have the best possible experience while you are there.

My study abroad experiences through ML
March 17, 2016by: Stephanie Gamba - United StatesProgram: Gap Year Program in Spain
I studied abroad not just once, but twice through Centro MundoLengua. I spent a summer session in Cadiz where I fell in love with Spain's culture and people. The summer program was intensive and allowed me to broaden my horizons through both my studies and living with a host family. I decided I couldn't stay away from Spain and I knew I wanted to study abroad for a full semester. I loved the program so much the first time that I never hesitated to coordinate my semester abroad through CML, too! Living in Sevilla was one of the biggest adventures of my life and I always felt at home - even when I was across an ocean! CML has the best staff that treats you like family and they pushed me to learn so much more through my classes, intercambios, and excursions. I also had the chance to volunteer and teach English and it was all because I had a great mentor at CML who suggested it. I highly recommend studying abroad through Centro MundoLengua! It's been years since my first trip through their program and I still have wonderful relationships with the staff and my host families. CML helped me find my passions for teaching English through service work and experiencing new cultures. I truly believe that my study abroad experiences were so wonderful because of the support and care from the CML staff!
My Time with MundoLengua
March 16, 2016by: Patrick Davis - United StatesProgram: Gap Year Program in Spain
I spent the fall semester of my junior year at Christopher Newport University- August to December of 2014- studying abroad in Sevilla, Spain with Centro MundoLengua. This decision changed my life and I have never looked back. The program coordinators immediately made me feel at home and I knew that I was able to trust them from the very beginning. The cultural activities and excursions that we would take only further enhanced my experience as well as my knowledge of the country, its language, and its people. Throughout my time there I formed personal relationships with the members of the CML team to the point where I was able to further my time spent with them and the program through a summer internship. I would highly recommend Centro MundoLengua to anyone looking to study abroad in Spain. Being both a student and employee for the program has given me the opportunity to view the company from different viewpoints. They have great resources and programs, put the students first, and truly care about making sure that everyone has the best possible experience and gets the most out of it.

I really appreciate my experience in Spain. I loved the visits and the activities that were planned. The Spanish classes were good and fun. We were learning by playing. The family was great. The lady was sympathetic and we talked a lot. Finally, I really improved my Spanish by visiting the city of Sevilla.
Fantastic Way to Spend the Summer
May 14, 2015by: Dylan KramerProgram: Spanish Immersion Programs in Spain for High School Students
I participated in a three week Summer Immersion Program with Centro MundoLengua the summer of my first year of university. When I arrived I realized that my Spanish wasn't quite as proficient as I thought; however, during the program I gain a lot of confidence and cultural knowledge. I would recommend the summer Cádiz program for anyone looking to spend the summer in a picturesque beach town, improve their Spanish, and learn about Spanish culture.

Incredible way to get to learn Spanish and experience the culture for a decent price. We went on some interesting day tours around Cadiz and took some interesting Cultural classes. Staying with a host family was nerve wracking but totally worth it. My host mom is a fantastic cook!
