Language Programs in Siena, Italy

The National Registration Center for Study Abroad in Siena is located near the Piazza del Campo, an excellent location for students looking for an escape to Italy. Many different students from around the world come to Siena to study the Italian language and to get immersed in the Italian culture. About 60 percent of the students are between the age of 17 and 30. Majority of the students who attend the center are employed, and take courses to further their careers. The next largest group is composed of university students who attend programs to further their studies. The rest of the students are primarily retired and are in Siena to expand their knowledge and to experience Italian culture. All teachers are highly qualified, and most of them have studied the Italian language and literature as part of their higher education. All teachers have been specially trained in teaching Italian to foreigners.

At Siena Italian Studies, SAI offers a study abroad program based at the International Center for Intercultural Exchange in Siena, Italy.
