We were visiting my parents living in Cali.
Why did you choose to take On-site Spanish Courses in Colombia: From Levels A1 to C1?
Acento Internacional seems the best Spanish school in Cali Colombia. They are also very quick and fast to answer.
What was your favorite part of Cali?
The Spanish classes were amazing. Great teacher, nice and cosy place, and charming staff.

What makes your experience in Cali extraordinary?
The city of Cali is a warm and vibrant cultural place, and that is what we were looking for. At the same time, we were visiting my family.
How did the Acento Internacional staff support you throughout your program?
The school staff was very kind and attended to our needs. They offered us organic coffee or fruit juice every day and spoke several languages.
What's one thing you wish you would have done differently during your time in Cali?
We firstly thought to stay 8 weeks, but finally we could stay only 4 weeks. We regret it, because we found it too short.
Describe what a typical day in your life in Cali looked like.
As I want my daughters to learn Spanish, if we go to a Spanish country, we can't go without taking a Spanish course. So, the day starts with a good breakfast. Then, the Spanish lessons, and afterward, whatever they plan.

What did you enjoy doing in your free time in Cali?
Going to nice place with my parents and the girls. They appreciate new culture, new people, and new flavors.
What type of accommodation did you have? What did you like best about it?
We stayed in my parents' house. The Spanish school also had cozy rooms for students. It’s a very calm, clean, and secure place, not noisy at all like other places in Cali.
What is one thing every future participant should know about the On-site Spanish Courses in Colombia: From Levels A1 to C1 before their program begins?
Each participant needs to know how much time they are going to spend learning Spanish. They also need to know their level of Spanish, but the school does a placement test to determine this before starting.
Would you recommend your program to others? Why?
Yes, of course, definitely. We really enjoyed it, and we hope everyone can have a wonderful time like we did.

What do you feel is the most significant benefit of traveling abroad?
Learning new languages, new cultures, new people, and new things–it's like a feeling of reborn.
Now that you're home, how has your time abroad impacted your life?
My daughters have learned a bit of Spanish so they can talk to their grandparents.
What does meaningful travel mean to you?
Each time we travel is like getting a bigger pack of joy, experiences, new faces, new landscapes, etc. that makes me love my world and my family I travel with.
