Miguel Angel Asturias Spanish School was founded in 1995 by a group of experienced Spanish language teachers. Two of the original founders, Edna Godinez and Juan Herrera, continue to own and operate the school today. The school is certified by the Guatemalan Ministry of Education and the Guatemalan Tourism Institute. We are a founding member of the Association of Spanish Schools of Quetzaltenango.

I have been to 5 Spanish immersion schools through Central and South America. This by far is the best learning environment and cultural experience I have had. I strongly recommend this school if you are looking to improve your Spanish.
