What inspired you to work for Road2Argentina?

Since working for Road2Argentina, I have been able to combine many things I love: meeting people from other countries and different cultures, being able to show them the fabulous city of Buenos Aires, and striving day by day to create the best possible experience, finding new places, discovering fantastic companies and NGOs. And enjoying what I do.

What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of my job is sharing special moments with the interns. Show them the city, give them advice, and make sure your experience is incredible.

What are some current projects you are working on?

I am working in the assembly of a travel agency, to be able to offer each intern an incredible experience traveling through Argentina. We will offer packages with flights, accommodation, tours, and the best recommendations.

What advice would you tell your pre-travel self?

I would advise myself to prepare for a fascinating experience — to meet new people, immerse in new cultures, and explore incredible new places. And most importantly: I would tell him to leave his comfort zone.

What makes Road2Argentina special?

I think the most important factor is to love what one does and be constant. I believe that only by being truly happy in what one does every day, and striving with a passion to give everything, can a totally unique experience be offered, can one stay in the best memories of a person for life. Love + Constancy + Pasion is my favorite formula.

Why should someone choose Road2Argentina over competitors?

I am completely sure that this company is unique to the people who are part of it, and how much each of us loves what he does on Road. Through the experience of having lived 10 years in the city, what makes us unique is to be able to know and show all those places, attractions, expressions, situations that are distant from someone who has not spent time here. Our focus is to be able to offer a 100-percent personalized experience and try to make the weeks here the best in those people's lives.

If you could participate on one of your organization's programs, where would you go and what would you do?

I would choose the Internship Program without thinking twice. A great way to get into the culture of a big city and country is to be able to share things day by day with local people, in different contexts: work, culture, outings. This program allows all that and much more. In a few days, you will find yourself speaking in Spanish with coworkers, friendly people in a bar, and even with your own host. That combination is what I think will allow you to take a rich and complete picture of what is Buenos Aires and Argentina.

Why is it important for people to travel abroad and experience new cultures?

Because it is the best way to understand how the world really works, and grow as a person. Traveling is going to teach you things that you would never learn otherwise.

What does meaningful travel mean to you?

For me, a significant trip is an experience that we can meet new cultures, talk and share moments with local people, learn a new language, and be far from our comfort zone.

I am part of a program at my school that requires me to complete a semester-long internship, plus I am a Spanish major, so I thought, "Why not hit two birds with one stone and go to Argentina?" Also, going abroad, or at least off-campus, is highly encouraged at my school, so I always knew I would...
