Why Adventure Travel in Los Angeles?
Get down to Earth in the city of Angels and explore the miles of Pacific coastline to the west or hike the mountain peaks of the San Gabriels to the east. Do a beach crawl (or nature tour!) and drive along the picturesque Rt. 1 highway. Start with some surfing in Malibu Beach. Next stop is Santa Monica Pier to ride the famous ferris wheel. End your sandy adventure tour in Los Angeles at Venice Beach, known for its eclectic mix of people. Ride a bike along the promenade and take in all that Los Angeles weirdness and Cali sunshine.
Take a tour of LA’s museums, like the Getty, where you can explore art from pre-20th century Europe in a Spanish-style villa. Adventure tours in Los Angeles aren’t complete without a pic of the Hollywood sign or a stroll along the Walk of Fame. Ever tried a Korean style taco? Eat your way through LA’s foodie neighborhoods and taste the blending of culinary traditions that make this city so unique.

I did both the Pacific Northwest and California/Grand Canyon trips and I loved them! The itinerary presented so many activities in so many places, most of which concentrated in city life, but some hiking and nature activities were mixed in. One of my favorite things about how Travel for Teens operates their trips is that there is built in free time, where you can do whatever you want to do for that few hour period. My group went to watch a red carpet premiere in Santa Monica for one of these times. The staff are also incredible! 10/10 would recommend Travel for Teens!
