Adventure Tours in Tamarindo, Costa Rica

I LOVED this trip to Costa Rica!! I had never gone to Costa Rica before and loved all of the various activities we were able to do. We explored 2 different locations and did wildly different things in each place. Loved the adventures and learning how to surf.

This trip was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. It was my first TFT program, and I could have not picked a better one. One of my favorite parts was how much of Costa Rica we got to see. We did not just stay in one area and we got to experience different parts of the country. Every single day we had something excited to look forward to, whether it was going on boat rides, swimming, jumping off waterfalls, or tubbing down a river. The trip definitely lived up to the name, but what I loved most was that I could choose when I wanted to step outside of my comfort zone and when I wanted to relax. There was such a good balance between exciting activities and free time. I ended up doing almost all of the activities, and I am so glad I did because looking back, those are some of my favorite memories from the trip. We also had plenty of time to hang out and bond with everyone, which I think is such an important part of the program because you spend so much time with the people you meet. As a picky eater, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the food situation was. We got to look at the menus and choose what we wanted, so it was never an issue. I made so many amazing memories, and I would recommend this program to anyone looking for an unforgettable summer experience!!

This trip was spectacular as I got to experience many great activities with great people. The zip lining was super fun as i got to go through a waterfall. The councilors were great as they allowed us to explore the many cities we were in.

Last summer I had the amazing oppurtunity of going on a Travel For Teens trip! Traveling had always been a dream of mine and when I found this program I automatically fell in love with the idea of traveling alone with a big group of strangers my age. I went into this trip a little scared, but left with lifelong memories and friends. There wasn't a moment during the 11 days that I wasn't having fun or making new memories. All of us teenagers became super close from the second we got off the plane. My favorite memory from the trip was swimming in the ocean during sunset, and laughing with all my new friends. Travel for Teens truly brough together the best group of kids, and I wish everyone could experience what I did.

This was a one of a kind trip and loved bit of it. The experience was amazing while the activities and environment were spectacular.I loved zip lining and boogie boarding with other teens. The group activities were fun as I got to know them way better.

Costa rica was my first trip with TFT and i loved it so much, this trip was very fun and was filled with fun activities to do, no part was boring. i enjoyed this trip a lot. the sunsets and beaches were both very pretty.

I went to costa rica for the adrenaline adventure. This was my first time on a TFT trip. I had the best time ever. The things we did like surfing, going on a boat, hot springs, tubing, and zip lining. Those were just few of the amazing things I got to experience while I was there. I made so many friends, and they became family by the end of the trip. Everyone is so welcoming and I felt so safe with everyone around me. The counselors are very supportive and understanding which makes it easy to connect with them. I made so many memories in costa rica and I can’t wait to make more on other TFT trips!

To begin with, I would like to express my gratitude to the Travel for Teens program for providing me with this incredible opportunity. Costa Rica was an amazing adventure where I met many new friends and made many wonderful memories. My favorite activities during the trip were rafting, surfing, and taking advantage of the fantastic beaches. In addition, the Coulsners did an outstanding job managing our group and ensuring that everyone felt welcomed and included. I am looking forward to going on yet another Travel for Teens adventure this summer in order to create more memories that will last a lifetime and connect with people from all over the world. I was lucky enough to spend a second summer in a row on a Travel for Teen Trip. It was hard to imagine that summer of 2022 could be as great as the first trip that I took in the summer f 2022. But it ended up being even better! I spent three weeks in Costa Rica, a beautiful country where I traveled; took part in many adventures, and had the great opportunity to engage in several community service projects. All the while, I made a great group of new friends with whom I remain in touch with. There are so many amazing things i could highlight from both the tours that i have completed with Travel for Teens. Some of the best parts include the extraordinary places that I visited; the wonderful communities and people that I learned from; a great group of new friends from all over the world that I gained; and community service that was totally enriching.
