Join the Working With NGOs program in Cambodia with International Volunteer HQ and contribute to meaningful community projects while immersing yourself in local culture. Volunteers assist in a variety of NGO-led initiatives, including community outreach, social welfare support, youth engagement, environmental projects, and organisational support, depending on local needs. This placement is perfect for gap year travelers, students, or anyone passionate about social change and global volunteering. Your hosted volunteer experience includes airport pick-up, a full orientation, accommodation in a volunteer house or homestay depending on placement, two meals daily, and 24/7 support from the local team. Before departure, you receive guidance from your IVHQ Program Manager along with training tools to help you feel prepared for your role. Programs begin every Monday. Volunteers join an international community of like-minded people and have opportunities to explore Cambodia’s rich culture, historic sites, vibrant cities, and natural landscapes while making a positive impact through NGO work.

Join GoEco and experience Cambodian culture by volunteering for children in the local community of Samraong. Become involved in various activities and get to spend an eco-trip after your placement. Your main role is to help boost the educational experience of underprivileged children, both inside and outside the classroom. Teach them english and assist in construction projects. A day’s work typically ends at around 5:00 pm, during which you can have dinner and then relax or hang out with fellow volunteers. This program is open to volunteers who have: - Minimum age of 18 - Good level of English - Motivation to work with children and meet new cultures - Full travel and medical insurance - Immunizations (please consult your doctor)
