Volunteer Programs in San Ramon, Costa Rica

This amazing program offers a wonderful experience to volunteers interested in a career in the healthcare or medical field, those on a pre-med track, or medical and nursing students. Participants work in small clinics helping to deliver healthcare to the Costa Rican community in San Ramon. Healthcare in Costa Rica is free for residents; however, resources are limited. Thus, volunteer assistance is gratefully received. This is particularly true outside of a hospital setting. This medical program places volunteers alongside local nurses and healthcare professionals in areas such as health education, patient history, taking vitals, and prepping equipment.
