Class Management , it is important to note that the pupils must be engaged in the lessons totally . In my neighbourhood school , I come across pupils from varied family backgounds. Very often , there is always a sizeable number who for some reasons do not show readiness to participate in the day to day classroom activities or show difficulties in completing the tasks their fellow classmates are engrossed in. To ensure that all my pupils are engaged in the classroom lessons, I implemented the differentiated learning approach in my classroom to cater to the different learning abilities of my pupils. For example, when I was teaching the population policies of Singapore to my pupils, I instructed the visual learners in my class to prepare mindmaps on the topic rather than write an essay length answer on the topic. For the textual learners , I gave them handouts to read and then reflect on the population policies. For the audio learners in my class , they got to sit in a small group and recaptitulate the topic that I taught in the class and then discuss the essay questions as a group . The rest in the class would ofcourse be writing the essay at length on the topic taught in class. In this way , the entire class would be engaged 100 percent in the lesson fo the day while the teacher has time to walk around the various learners' stations and render the necessary guidance they require in their learning.
