Absolutely! This program is open to non-native English speakers with a strong command of the language.
How long is the TEFL Training portion of the Internship?
The first part of your training occurs online; you complete our 120-Hour Online TEFL from the comfort of your home. You then fly out to Phnom Penh for a 9-day hands-on Orientation + additional training with other TEFL teachers from around the world. After that, you are certified and qualified to start your new paid teaching position in Cambodia.
Are accommodations included?
Accommodations for the Orientation are included. After that, our team on the ground personally assists with securing longer-term accommodations for you. The cost of living in Cambodia is quite low, and you can expect to secure a modern, furnished, clean apartment for under $350 per month.
How much can I expect to earn during my teaching placement?
You can expect to earn between $1,000 and $1,400 per month. This depends on the location of the employer, your own experience, and additional qualifications.
Are there going to be other TEFL teachers around me?
Yes! In addition to other TEFL teachers completing the same program as you, most TEFL employment takes place in larger cities with other foreign teachers working in the same schools, and living in the same areas. You'll find a nice blend of local and international friends to create great new experiences with.
