La’Betra is originally from Waterloo, Iowa, U.S.A. and is currently working as an Assistant Language Teacher in Seto City, Japan. She teaches English at three different public junior high schools in the Seto area. She has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations/German from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA, as well as a master’s degree in Ethnic and Multicultural Studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato. La’Betra loves trying new food, traveling, and animals!
