quarter

- One-fourth of a US or Canadian dollar (25 cents).
Example: Your price is a quarter dollar cheaper than theirs.

- To lead or direct.

- Effiminate; usually refers to a male.
Example: It was a challenge for him to act all queeny but it was a gay role.

- Fake.

- A homosexual.
Example: He is no doubt a queer, just look at his fashion sense and effiminate gestures.
