- To calm down; slow down.
Example: You've been working on weekends, you should ease up a little.

- Easily taken advantage of.
Example: She has dated half of the football team, some people think she's easy.

Example:

Easy come, easy go

- Anything that is readily gained or achieved tend to be lost or consumed as easily.
Example: Pat is spoiled by her parents - easy come, easy go, that's how she is with her money.

eat

- Bother.
Example: I wonder what's eating Jim, he's been sullen all day.

Example:

egg

- Person or character.
Example: He's a good egg that's why he has my vote. Bad eggs must be fired from this office.

Example:

Elbow grease

- Hard work; much physical effort.
Example: The rugby team needs more elbow grease to make it to the play-offs.

Example:

embalmed

- Drunk; intoxicated.
Example: My friend was so embalmed after the party that we had to take his car keys.

ends

- Money.
Example: I just have enough ends for this month's rent.
