- Term used when referring to too bureaucratic a process a person is dealing with resulting to delay or inaction.
Example: Mitch experienced red taping when she processed the transfer of the new property she bought to her name.

- To recover from a serious failure.

- To suggest that many things can't be done in a snap of a finger.
Example: My son is worried with his thesis come second half of the semester. I told him that Rome was not built in a day so better start early.

Example:

Rub shoulders

- To be comfortable with a person; to spend time with a person.
Example: George and I get to rub shoulders during lunch breaks.
