Jet- black

- Used to describe or give emphasis to black, usually referring to hair color.
Example: Anna is blessed with beautiful jet- black hair, the reason why she was recruited for the shampoo commercial.

Joined at the hip

- When two people are very compatible; two persons always agreeing on most decisions.
Example: The two executives are joined at the hip, that is why their proposals are consistent and are approved at once by the management.

Juggle frogs

- Trying your luck by doing something almost impossible.
Example: Freida is juggling frogs with her decision to join the army. I hope she can cope with the training despite her heart disease.

Jump on the bandwagon

- Getting involved in what everybody else is doing.
Example: Alternative songs are a hit nowadays and young kids have recently jumped on the bandwagon.

Just around the corner

- Something that is to happen very soon.
Example: People nowadays are busy shopping for presents because Christmas is just around the corner.

Example:

Just deserts

- Fair, impartial decision, usually referring to court decisions.
Example: The famous New York serial killer accepted his just deserts before the US court.

Example:

Just in the nick of time

- Just in time; followed the agreed deadline.
Example: The train arrived at the station just in the nick of time.
