Backseat driver

- Refers to a person who gives incorrect and unsolicited advice; a person who loves to intervene but possesses no credibility.
Example: Everything was a mess after the group followed the advice of Mida. She's truly a backseat driver.

- Hostility between two people.
Example: There has been bad blood between Bruce and Eric ever since they argued about a major family decision last year.

- A term referring to a person who has no credibility; a person who is not trustworthy.

- To sell something before its value declines.
Example: The mining industry is getting heavy resistance from environmentalists and from the new anti-mining act, so cash in your chips now before it gets worse.

Caught red-handed

- To catch someone in the act of doing something unlawful or not right.
Example: Gary was caught red-handed while shoplifting for a pack of cigarette at the corner store.
