Our Combined Level 5 TEFL Certificate (168 hours) is regulated by Ofqual (UK) and approved by the DEAC (US), so has official recognition from 2 government-recognized bodies! This makes all the difference when applying for jobs. Some employers prefer a significant portion of your TEFL qualification to be face-to-face rather than purely online, and therefore the combined version of our course includes 10 hours in the classroom and 158 hours of online study. This course is particularly suitable if you feel you would benefit from face-to-face tuition, including the chance to practice all you have learned in the classroom. By choosing our combined course, you’ll set yourself apart from other candidates with your commitment to face-to-face as well as online learning. You’ll become classroom confident through our day-long classroom teaching practice, where you’ll receive six hours of peer-to-peer teaching practice, learn about classroom management skills, and receive real-time feedback from one of our expert TEFL trainers. A separate 10-hour Teaching Practice Certificate will be awarded on completion.
