Volunteer Travel Experience

Volunteer Travel Experience (VTE) is a small-scale volunteer and internship organization based in Arusha, Tanzania, created to connect people from around the world with meaningful local projects and authentic cultural experiences. We believe that traveling abroad can be about more than simply seeing new places. It can be about meeting people, learning from another culture, contributing to local communities and discovering something new about yourself along the way. Through VTE, participants can take part in a variety of volunteer and internship opportunities, including education, healthcare, community development, women empowerment, sports and animal welfare. What makes VTE special is our personal approach. We keep our programs small so that every participant receives genuine support and attention. From the first contact before your journey until your arrival and throughout your stay, our team is there to help you feel welcome and supported. Our goal is to create meaningful experiences for both participants and the communities they become part of based on respect, connection, cultural exchange and learning from one another.
