Online Level 5 TEFL Course

My experience with the TEFL course has been rewarding and enriching. As someone who is passionate about teaching, I found the course to be a valuable opportunity to develop my knowledge and improve my teaching skills. What I particularly appreciate is the balance the course strikes. It covers everything you genuinely need to know without overwhelming you with irrelevant information. The level of difficulty is just right too. It is challenging enough that you have to stay engaged and actually put in the work, but not so demanding that you feel you need to quit your job to keep up with it! Another thing that really stands out is how well the course is presented. The content is clear, organised and easy to follow, which makes learning a lot more enjoyable and manageable. And I must especially commend TTA for having such a great job support system in place. Knowing that there is genuine support beyond simply completing the course adds tremendous value and makes the whole experience feel much more worthwhile. I was looking for a career change, and teaching seemed impossible until I found TEFL Academy. Being online meant I could complete the program at my own pace, and, since the website is so well designed, it was easier to navigate than I imagined. I definitely recommend for adult learners who are able to keep themselves on track.

I did my practical training in Vancouver, BC Canada. It was a full 10 hr day, and I learned quite a bit. Enough to retain. Lisa, our instructor for the the day, answred questions and gave us a few stories from her experience(s). All in all, I was nervous about going abroad from the start and now I'm just excited to start!

My experience at the academy was very pleasant and enriching. As a non-native speaker, I learned a great deal about the language, but also about pedagogical approaches within English-speaking culture, which is also very useful when teaching the language. The platform is user-friendly and the course is well-organized. I recommend it.

My motivation for obtaining my TEFL certification was both personal and professional. I have a strong interest in China, Chinese culture, and Mandarin language learning, and I believe that living and working in China is the best way to gain a deeper, more respectful understanding of the country and its people. As some who has been trying to learn Mandarin with the use of apps and books, I can relate to the challenge of learning your non-native language. After completing this course, I am now qualified and confident that I will be able to use the skills I've gain and my professional background to obtain a meaningful one-year or more ESL teaching commitment where I can contribute, learn, and grow.

Completing my Online Course with TEFL Academy was challenging yet rewarding. The content of the course is really good. The communication was very good, my questions/concerns were always answered and I was always helped.
