TEFL Institute of Ireland’s Accredited TEFL Diploma in Spain

I’ve just finished the 120 hour course, the 30 hour teaching online module, and the 10 hour virtual classroom course. Honestly, the 10 hour virtual class is the most hands on experience you could ask for, and Michelle was incredibly helpful throughout, so I finally feel ready to take what I learned and actually use it with confidence.

The materials were really high quality, and the online platform was easy to follow. Support was solid too. The only downside was getting a ton of upsell emails, although I get the reason for them and it is helpful to hear about what you could study next.

Just finished a course with TEFL.ie and I absolutely loved it!! I had such a great time doing it, and it was really helpful plus straightforward to follow, with plenty of examples and really clear explanations. I have just finished the Online Teaching Course and I already feel far more confident about starting out in online teaching as a career. Before this, I was really anxious about putting in job applications, but now I feel much more ready and excited to see where this next chapter takes me.

I just wrapped up the 10 Hour Virtual Teaching Practice Course. Michelle led it, and she is amazing. She brings tons of enthusiasm, keeps it fun and interactive, and always checks that everyone in the group is following along. We only had 6 people in my class, which made everything feel relaxed and gave us plenty of space to practice. It begins right from level 0, so it truly works for anyone, even if you have no language teaching background. The hands on practice was a big bonus and it really helped me understand how to build a lesson plan. Thanks Michelle for such a great time, all your energy, and everything you shared.

Such a great course. It keeps the emphasis on learning how to teach, which is exactly what new teachers need. You can move through it at whatever speed and pace suits you. The material is the right amount for getting to grips with grammar ideas that native speakers use instinctively, even if they have never labelled them. The examples made things so much clearer, and the recommended English teaching books will be really handy for anyone going into English teaching. Really excellent overall and I would suggest it to everyone.

Michelle Benson led our sessions, and she stayed brilliant from start to finish. The course kept me interested and was packed with information. It is an excellent chance to practise teaching classes, plus you get helpful guidance on what to do once the course is over.

The 10 hour virtual TEFL course was such a positive experience for me. Even though it was on Zoom, it still felt genuinely interactive, and the way the modules were put together was excellent, especially because they helped me see things from a student point of view. Michelle Benson was my instructor and she was fantastic. She brought so much warmth and energy to every session, and she kept it engaging while also being really encouraging. The teaching practice was the part I valued most since it gave me a real sense of what it is like to teach in an online classroom. It also fit perfectly alongside my 180 hour and 30 hour courses. I had a great time doing the 120hr course. It was super straightforward to follow, and the content was brilliant, it really boosted my confidence to keep going with my EFL journey. I also loved the audio that comes with every chapter, especially as an auditory learner, plus it is a nice bonus that it is a supportive Irish company too.

Things did not begin well for me with this company. Their marketing site felt muddled because there were loads of different courses being promoted, and it ended up leading me to buy two courses when I only meant to buy one. Once I contacted them, though, they refunded me and it went through quickly. They also helped out in other respects. In the end, I am happy enough with how it was handled.

I recently finished the 180hour TEFL course as well as the 30hour teaching English online course. I found both courses really engaging and packed with useful information. Choosing this course was definitely the right decision for me. Everyone at the institute I spoke with throughout the course was so friendly and supportive. I would absolutely recommend it!

I recently finished the 120 hour online TEFL certificate, then followed it up with the 30 hour online teaching certificate over the next few days. It was full of genuinely helpful insights about what it is like in a real teaching environment, and it equipped me with the tools I will need to do well as an English as a foreign language teacher. Taking the TEFL Level 5 course with Kate Popova turned into a five star (5*****) learning experience for me. From the start, Kate came across as highly professional and very experienced, and her intelligence really showed in the way she taught. She kept the lessons enjoyable and inspiring, so the class was genuinely fun while still being well run. What I appreciated most was how Kate made sure to give one to one attention while guiding everyone through the session. You can tell she truly loves teaching and she is an amazing person as well. I completed the 120 Hour Online TEFL course. It is split into 10 units, each followed by a multiple choice quiz that you can redo as many times as you need. Although they label it as 120 hours, I only needed about 5 hours to get through the quizzes, pass them, and receive the certificate, and I can see why someone might take longer if they wanted to fully memorise everything. The qualification itself, and the doors it can open, definitely have worth, but the content does not feel as extensive as the price suggests. That said, the modules are clearly structured, detailed, and straightforward to work through, and I was given a personal tutor who was quick to reply by email whenever I had questions or worries. In the end, I would still suggest it to anyone who wants to build their skills and possibly go into TEFL. My main complaint is the cost.

I seriously can’t recommend this course enough. As a single mom with a 6 month old who also works full time, I’ve wanted to get my TOEFL certification for ages, but it just never seemed like I would have the time to do it. This course made it possible because it’s completely self study, so I could fit it in whenever it worked for me, and honestly it has been a real lifesaver. Now I’m excited to finish more specialty courses too so I can keep moving forward in my career. If you’re trying to get certified, you really don’t need to look anywhere else!

I have just finished the 10 hour advanced teaching methodology course with Michelle Benson. I loved every part of the 10 hours, especially spending that time with like minded people. The knowledge Michelle passed on was invaluable. After watching how Michelle taught us, it was brilliant to then put it into practice ourselves. Michelle’s teaching experience is incredible and her energy is so infectious that you cannot help but fully immerse yourself for the full 10 hours. I would absolutely recommend this hands on course to anyone who wants practical experience before they start teaching.
