Quantum Scholars are keen to recruit internationally trained teachers to work in England and are in particular looking to recruit teachers for the following subjects; Science, Maths, English, Computer Science, Geography & History, Religious Education, Design Technology, Business Studies, French and Spanish. We also recruit primary teachers.
Position: Secondary and Primary teaching roles for one year minimum
Location: Various state schools across South East England
Start Date: September 2025 or January 2026

What qualifications are needed to teach in England?
You must have a valid teaching qualification or certification to teach in a state school in England. This might include a Bachelors in Education, Masters in Education or a Post-Graduate degree in Education. Anything TESOL, ESL related is not relevant.
What subjects and age groups can I teach in England
There is a strong need for the core subjects in England including Science, Maths and English but also a need in Computer Science, Geography & History, Religious Education, Business Studies, French & Spanish and Design Technology. Secondary teachers will always teach 11-16 year olds and sometimes up to 18 year olds. Primary teachers will teach one specific grade known as a Year Group in England.

Teacher salaries in England are growing ever more competitive and will allow any teacher to live comfortably whether they are an experienced teacher being paid at the top of the pay scale or a graduate teacher coming in relatively low on the scale.
