The big move
Through I have only been here a few weeks, the transition has been pretty smooth. I'm Living with a co-worker which makes commute less of a hassle. Transportation is a bit more expensive here but once you budget you will be fine. The bus system is very organised and its easy to get from one place to the next. Though I wish the food was a bit more to m liking there are great places in London that you can grab a bit to eat. That doesn't mean you can't venture into the town's market and get good food. Access to healthy is really easy here which is a big plus for me. In regards to school, my interactions have mostly been pleasant. Access to resources is really good. I really don't have to worry about printing issues here and getting materials for my classes is pretty easy. As with many places I have mixed students and mixed personalities. Most of my interactions with students have been pleasant, however, there are days when you will feel really drained. When you feel tired rest, lots of rest. But I have stayed in touch with some from the acclimatisation week, as well as I had people I knew already here. Socialising is key to keeping yourself centred while here so find people that will make your stay worth it.
