If you are in high school and interested in Public Health, this is the perfect project for you! Outreach work is the major focus of the project and you will be able to gain practical medical skills while giving back to those living in impoverished communities. During your placement, you will also visit a public hospital in Phnom Penh, a health center in the community, and have the chance to learn about traditional Khmer medicine. You are encouraged to take notes and ask questions so that you can make the most of your time abroad and enhance your medical knowledge as much as possible. Over the weekend, you will travel with the other volunteers and our local staff and visit several of the main temple sites.
