Projects Abroad offers Care & Community Work in Tanzania for Teens, a program that offers a completely enriching time with children and people in a local community. You will have the opportunity to work with kids, immerse in the local lifestyle through a homestay, and discover a new culture. 

During your time in Tanzania, you will be assigned at a care center or in an orphanage where you will take care of various tasks. These include renovating, building, decorating, and painting as well as more care-based activities, such as looking after kids and playing with them. You will stay with a local host family together with other volunteers. On the weekend, you will experience the stunning scenery in one of the country's most beautiful national parks.

With English becoming a crucial aspect of the Tanzanian economy, many centers in the country want kids to learn this language as soon possible. This placement allows you to help achieve this goal. Together with fellow volunteers, you will help plan interactive and engaging educational activities. These are aimed at helping and encouraging children to learn English.
