Project Dragonfly at Miami University is accepting applications for Earth Expeditions (EE) graduate courses that offer extraordinary global experiences for people who want to ignite ecological and social change. These courses take place on the web and in the field with visionary community leaders and conservationists worldwide.
Earth Expeditions are Miami University study abroad courses designed for people at all stages of their life and career who are looking for inspiring professional development opportunities while earning graduate credit. All courses engage with grassroots conservation and sustainability programs that are making a difference in the world.
Enrolled students travel to important conservation areas to gain first-hand knowledge of local biodiversity and community conservation efforts for the benefit of humans and wildlife worldwide. All courses also involve an ongoing online component in which students interact to make changes in their home communities.
