Premier TEFL offers a solid 300-hr course and the lessons are very educational—I went from knowing hardly anything about teaching language to feeling like I could actually organize English lessons someday. And I did indeed land a job while I was still working on my TEFL certificate to teach Spanish, because some of the principles of teaching English generalize to teaching other languages. One thing that really makes this TEFL program stand out is the amount of support you get. Anytime you have questions or doubts, you can e-mail the staff and they are very responsive. The tutors, Anya and Laura, are available once a week for a live Zoom session, but you can e-mail them anytime and they will answer all your questions, and if they don't have an answer, they will direct you to another staff member who does. The support staff, like Olivia and Lisa, are also very helpful for your course needs and even check in to see how you're doing. Overall, I was very pleased with the value of this course and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning how to teach English.

The study materials were straight to the point, rich in content and easy to grasp. The support staff member, Laura, responded to messages promptly. My practical course sessions with Michelle Benson gave me the kind of experience and heads up that I needed to improve my one-on-one and whole-class teaching skills. I have just completed the IELTS Preparation Course. Like the first course I did, the study materials were clear, accurate, and straight to the point. Although I realize I will need to gain some teaching experience first, my long term goal is still to teach IELTS. What I value most about doing this is the sense that it is genuinely making me a stronger teacher for my students. It shines a light on the gaps you did not even realize were there, while also backing up the things you already know. If you are thinking of getting started, or if you have been teaching English for years like I have, I cannot recommend the TEFL Institute of Ireland enough. This year I finished the 180 Hour Level 5 TEFL course along with the 30 Hour Advanced Grammar, and I am currently working through the Teaching English Online course. I am truly thankful for my personal tutor Rachel, who ALWAYS got back to me straight away with any questions, especially during that sensitive final assessment stage. Thank you! I also found the weekly live group tutor support sessions really helpful for talking through issues and topics with a tutor and fellow students. And thank you as well to Sarah in Customer Support for how quickly she responds whenever we reach out with requests or questions. There is no doubt in my mind that these courses are money well spent.

If you are thinking about teaching English, TEFL provide an excellent service. Everyone I dealt with was really supportive and flexible, and they made the whole process easy. I also took the practical course with Michelle Benson, and the hands on methods it covers were genuinely useful and helped me a lot.

I had such a great time in this class. Michelle Benson came across as so relaxed and easy to talk to. She created a space where everyone could feel comfortable. Her energy was contagious, and by the end I honestly felt confident enough to finally call myself a teacher.

Now that I have finished the 300 Hour Level 5 Advanced Diploma, I am happy with the choice I made. The course content was solid, the assessments were graded quickly, the IQAs were turned around without delay, and customer support got back to me fast whenever I had questions. I only just started my 300+ Hr Level 5 certification and so far everything in the lessons has been easy to follow and to the point. Signing up was just as hassle free.
