International Volunteer HQ [IVHQ]

The preparation before trip was so detailed that I don’t have anything to worry about. It got everything listed and made it so much easier to tick off what I’ve done and what they need. The communication with the manager for the volunteer was so smooth and fast, and I was able to get a reply current evening or next morning (due to different timing in different countries). I wanted to change my volunteer from rural teaching to turtle reservation, it was so fast that there wasn’t any problems with the money nor arrangements, everything just went so smoothly, really impressed. The local team there really helped a lot, the driver, the leader, everyone was just so nice, even the cook and the receptionist. This volunteer as itself also helped me a lot on raising awareness for the sea turtles, learnt a lot and really hope to help them consistently. This is such a memorable trip and I hope to do these volunteers with IVHQ next summer with my friends.

From the moment I started exploring the IVHQ website, I felt supported. The website was easy to navigate, and once I enrolled, the program guide provided clear, step-by-step information about everything from visas and packing to arrival and my volunteer placement. It answered questions I hadn't even thought to ask. My experience in Vietnam exceeded my expectations. The local team was welcoming, organized, and always available if I needed help. They made it easy to settle in and focus on what I came to do—serve, learn, and experience another culture. Volunteering gave me a deeper appreciation for the Vietnamese people, their resilience, and their kindness. I came hoping to make a difference, but I left feeling like I had received far more than I gave. I made memories that will stay with me for a lifetime and grew in ways I never expected. I would highly recommend IVHQ to anyone looking for a meaningful, well-supported volunteer experience abroad. It truly was a life-changing adventure.

IVHQ was an amazing experience that I am already trying to plan another trip. Volunteering around the world was always a dream and this program was just that! IVHQ was such an easy process to complete and they gave me so much information as a first time traveller and a female traveller it made me feel safe and prepared. They answered my questions so quickly before and during the trip and the in country support was beyond amazing. My only regret was only doing two weeks, I'm definitely coming back for more! I love that no matter how long you are placed for, the IVHQ volunteering makes a huge impact to the communities that need it. Thank you IVHQ
