I came for two weeks and saw many things. The locals were incredibly hospitable and I was often invited to stay at the homes of others.

I gained a valuable insight into the daily life of Palestinians and met so many amazing people. Visiting the refugee camps was an experience I won't forget. People here really value generosity and have invited me to celebrations, weddings, meals and into their houses for tea on a daily basis. I feel completely safe here and would recommend anybody who is interested in the true culture of the Holy Land to take a trip here and experience the hospitality and warmth of the people.

What inspired me to work at Go Palestine was a strong desire to help my community and make a real difference, especially for people who need support the most. The organization’s focus on social justice, human rights, and building understanding between cultures felt very close to my own values of kindness and social responsibility.
