The people at Go Palestine are all very helpful, kind, good communicators, and have very good knowledge and insights. The advanced coordination and information was very helpful so I had more idea of what to expect. I also left my mind open to see what would happen and go with the flow. My Arabic classes were good. Giving English classes was fun but a little chaotic as I do not have experience with this, and when we had a large group of students, it was hard to manage the dynamics. My visits with healthcare and environmental professionals were very insightful in helping me understand how the systems are working in Hebron and in Palestine in general. It was really an honor to have time with these professionals who care so much about their work and their patients or the environment here. They are also facing challenges due to the political situation and it was helpful to understand that more. The visit to the old city was wonderful and also helps me understand the current situation. I had a fun cooking class and was happy to learn how to make Maqluba. It was delicious! In Hebron, I was never uncomfortable except for the hot weather which of course no one can control. I felt Hebron is safe and peaceful. I asked people when I needed something and they were always willing to help. It has been a great experience!

My internship at Go Palestine was truly a great experience. I did not only learn a lot about the human rights situation, but also about the Palestinian culture in general. Everybody at Go Palestine was very friendly and hospitable!

I joined the Human Rights Internship with Go Palestine for three weeks, and it was an eye-opening and meaningful experience. During the internship, I met several local human rights activists, especially Mr. Ahmad, who was very informative and open. He took the time to explain the human rights situation in Palestine in a way that felt real and grounded in everyday life, not just theory. Besides the field visits, I also had English conversational classes with Palestinians, which were one of the highlights for me. These sessions felt more like real conversations than classes and allowed for genuine exchange, shared stories, and different perspectives. I also had Arabic lessons with my wonderful teacher, Dalia. She was patient, encouraging, and made learning Arabic enjoyable, even when it was challenging. These lessons helped me connect more deeply with the people and the culture. Overall, this experience helped me understand the human rights situation in Palestine on a much deeper level. It was not just educational, but personal. I would strongly recommend this internship to anyone who wants to learn, listen, and engage directly with the local community.

I was surprised by the level of depth that I was able to experience with learning about Palestinian culture, understanding the issues that locals face there, and visiting refugee camps in person to see for myself. Although I feel like my contribution with volunteering was just a small drop in a bucket, it was still great to get the sort of perspective that allowed me to share the word and let others know about the human rights issues here. I highly recommend every aspect of this program, from the camp visitation, classes, daily breakfast, host families, and even tours of the city.

The program was absolutely amazing. Even though I had only one week I was able to learn a lot about Palestine and the occupation. The staff was incredible and super attentive. I can say that this was a life changing experience and I would strongly recommend it. In the times we are living, it's a must have experience to understand the occupation and colonisation of Palestine.

I have really enjoyed my time with the team at the Go Palestine Center. Mohamed, Manar and team do a brilliant job and show you all aspects of life in Hebron. The program is so well organized and varied and I would really encourage you to join it. I will definitely come back. The best thing about it is being able to meet so many people. Everyone is so friendly in Hebron and wants to take time to talk to you. I met so many inspiring people. My Arabic teacher Dalia is excellent - so patient - and I learned a lot in a short time which I was able to practice.

Our friends at the GoPalestine Center have been consistently helping us in every way they can. In fact, this seems to be part of the Palestinian culture in general. The people on the street always want to talk to us, and offer us help whenever we seem confused (which is always). The morning breakfast at the Center is very delicious and our guide when we go out (Mr. Tamimi) makes us feel safe even in the most chaotic of times. There's not much to say really, expect everyone should come. It is safe, friendly, and fulfilling.

It has been a great experience to visit Hebron. People are warm and kind. I have discovered many things about Palestine and its law system, visiting the Court of Bethlehem and Hebron. Everyone is available for helping you. The room of the apartment where I have stayed was almost independent and big, and not so far away from the centre, so you can come by foot. Ask to the family or at the centre to clean if it's not enough cleaned, they are gonna do it. In august maybe it's too hot, so I recommend to come during spring or autumn.

This program gave me the opportunity to shadow an attorney and visit different courts in the West Bank. I also got to meet with relevant organizations like prisoners' rights groups, family planning centers, and environmental monitoring bodies. Alongside these activities, I studied Arabic and then got to practice it through immersion while living in Hebron.

Over the past two weeks in Hebron, I’ve been part of a law and human rights program that gave me the chance to visit refugee camps, meet incredible people, and learn from human rights organizations. It’s been a truly memorable experience. The center has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, it feels like being part of a family. I also had time to explore nearby cities like Jerusalem, Ramallah, and Jericho, which are just a short trip from Hebron. Throughout my stay, I’ve felt completely safe, and the kindness and hospitality of the locals have made this experience even more special.

Hello everyone, I’m Emilia from Slovakia. I study International Relations in Hungary, and I came to Hebron for an internship focused on Law and Human Rights. I stayed here for one month, and it has been an unforgettable experience. Our schedule included cultural visits in the first half of the week, followed by English and culture talks, where we connected with local people, practiced our Arabic, and exchanged cultural insights. We also had day trips to refugee camps in the West Bank, which were incredibly eye opening. Safety was never an issue during my stay. I walked around confidently and felt secure at all times. If anyone has concerns about safety, let me assure you, it’s absolutely fine here. As I prepare to leave Hebron, I already know I’ll miss this city deeply. This experience will remain one of the most significant memories of my life. I highly recommend visiting and exploring Hebron :)

I served as a Human Rights intern with Go Palestine for five weeks, deeply passionate about understanding the emotional well-being of youth in trauma, especially in environments like Palestine. With over five years of experience working with young people in France, I sought to expand my knowledge of children's emotional health in different cultural contexts. Hebron, a place often misunderstood, provided me with an invaluable learning experience, where I felt safe and secure, despite occasional street harassment similar to what I’ve experienced at home. My program was full of insightful activities and visits to local nonprofits, which enhanced my understanding of the human rights situation. Living with a host family was a highlight, and I’ve developed a meaningful relationship with them that will last beyond my stay in Palestine.

We visited important sites like the Ibrahimi Mosque, met inspiring people from human rights organizations, and made great friendships with locals. At the center, we taught English and learned Arabic. I spent three weeks in Palestine as a human rights intern, and it’s been incredible! I’m was sad to leave because I’ve learned so much about Palestine and the human rights issues here. During my internship, I met with local groups and NGOs that focus on helping different communities, like women, children, and even prisoners. I got to ask a lot of questions and really see what life is like for people here. Some of the most powerful moments were visiting places like Shuhada Street and the Al Fawwar refugee camp, where I could see and understand the situation firsthand. I even got to create a workshop about mental health as a human right, which I presented to local kids a small way to give back to the community. Living in Hebron, I felt safe and welcomed. My host family was amazing and always looked out for me. Even as a young woman, I felt comfortable walking around the city or taking a taxi at any time of day. The people here are so warm and friendly; they made me feel at home. I also met other interns who were here for a month. They shared my excitement and curiosity, and we all loved learning from the locals. We visited families near checkpoints, saw the impact on Shuhada Street, and did a lot of fun cultural things too, like cooking with our host families and visiting a glass factory. Overall, my time here has been lif changing. I learned so much about human rights and got to experience the kindness and hospitality of the Palestinian people. I highly recommend the Go Palestine program to anyone looking for a meaningful experience that goes beyond just learning. It’s truly unforgettable!

During the program, we met local Palestinian lawyers and learned about their jobs. We also visited courts to watch how cases are handled and spoke with different NGOs and human rights groups. This was an eye opening experience, helping us see how the law is put into action and how these groups support the community. I felt safe throughout my time here. Palestine, and Hebron in particular, is beautiful, and I felt secure and always welcomed. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to discover the true beauty of Palestine and see its unique legal system.

I was eager to visit Palestine and found Go Palestine while looking for programs. The program included visiting the Old City, Al-Fawwar camp, various human rights organizations, the court, and allowed us to meet with lawyers and activists. We even organized a workshop and discussion with law students from Hebron University at the legal clinic. What amazed me was how, despite living under occupation and not having a legislative council, local legal professionals showed incredible creativity and resilience. I met many people with innovative ideas for improving their society. Hebron is a great city, and I’d recommend visiting Palestine and especially Hebron to experience and understand the local culture and community.

I arrived in Palestine two months ago to join the Lawyers in Palestine program, and it has been a wonderful experience. As a law student, meeting local lawyers, activists, and officials in Hebron has helped me better understand the legal challenges related to the occupation and the violations by the IDF and Israeli settlers. Staying with the Abu Eisha family for three weeks in Hebron was incredibly rewarding. Although I was nervous at first, they welcomed me with open arms and made my stay unforgettable. Walking through the city every day from my host family's home to the center allowed me to experience Palestinian culture, from tasty falafel to bustling markets and friendly locals. In my free time, I explored different Palestinian cities and practiced my new Arabic skills. My time in Hebron has been truly meaningful. Thank you to all my Habibis for this amazing experience.

I’m Lucas from Spain. After spending the last two years in Jordan studying Arabic, I wanted to keep improving my Levantine dialect and learn more about human rights in Palestine, especially in the West Bank. Two months ago, I joined a program in Hebron, which I found to be the most interesting city in the West Bank, despite worries about the occupation and the current situation. Exploring both parts of the city, one controlled by Israel and the other by the Palestinian Authority was very intersting. The center gave me a comforting routine with organized tours and meetings that provided deep insights into local culture, history, and current issues. Highlights included visiting Shuhada Street, the Keffiyeh factory in the West Bank, and meeting professors, lawyers, and activists. My program was special because I documented the center’s activities with photography and videos, which made my experience more diverse. I also taught English and helped with the center's website. The staff was flexible and supportive, making my time in Hebron very fulfilling. Palestinian hospitality is amazing, and I strongly recommend accepting invitations for coffee or meals they give a real taste of the local culture. I never felt unsafe in Hebron; the locals were welcoming and respectful, although I understand that women might face different challenges. Overall, it was an incredible experience that deepened my understanding of the region and its people.

Palestine is an example, for everyone, and everyone, without exceptions, when living with the palestinian, can see through the adventure of life much clearly and deeply. I've been spending here two mounth but at the end i felt like it wasnt enough. I will be back.
