On weekends, discover pueblos mágicos (magical towns), swim in cenotes (caves with fresh water), and taste authentic dishes only found in the Yucatán region. Program Highlights
Wander around pastel-colored buildings and lively markets and try traditional Yucatecan dishes, like cochinita pibil, in Valladolid.
Explore the Mayan ruins of Chichén Itzá and crystal-clear waters of cenotes.
Take a day trip to the port city of Progreso, where you’ll find Yucatán’s most beautiful white-sand beaches and the paradisical nature reserve of El Corchito.
Attend local festivals, visit sights of cultural and historical importance, and take day trips with your host family—wherever they go, you go!
Join organized trips, which are scheduled earlier in the term so trimester students can participate and different every semester.
