Where is the school located?

Accademia Leonardo is located in the old palace in Salerno. We are near by Lungomare, old town, city centre - so it is closed everywhere!

Salerno itself has amazing location for exploring the Amalfi coast. By boat you can take trips to Amalfi, Positano, Minori, Maiori and many more. By train or buses you can easily reach to Naples, Pompei, Ercolano or Paestum... There are so many beautiful places around that you will have always something to do!

How many students are usually in class?

Accepted Answer

We prefer to create smaller classes so the teacher have space to work with all the students properly. For us is the ideal class in between two to five person. Like that the focus is on abilities of each student and they have more space to learn. We know that you are mainly coming to learn the language so we want to give you the best possible experience!

Is Accademia offering some extra activities?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Many... We are having some extra activities in school, like cooking classes or lunch with wine tasting (since the school have professional kitchen). Then we are working with some guides so we are offering guided tour around Salerno, trip to Sorrento, visit of Agropoli and many more. Of course we can forget our summer special - the boat! With our school you can take a trip on the boat, nice swim at costiera Amalfitana and sunset.

Are we going to spend time with the students from different groups?

Of course! Accademia Leonardo is not only language school and cultural centre, but also place where you can meet new people from all around the world. Our little tradition is to take caffè all together, so during the brake you have opportunity to meet up with students from different classes and share your experiences. And then we have trips. The trips all for all the students at Accademia so you will always have some travel companion!

What is the best time to visit Salerno?

Accepted Answer

Anytime is the best time! Salerno is always beautiful and have always something to offer. Spring is beautiful for its flowers, the gardens are in bloom and the weather is warm in a cosy way. Summer is amazing for the sea side, but remember summer in Italy is very hot so the beach is the best program! Autumn is still keeping it hot, so it is possible to enjoy the beach but also the monuments. And the winter? Luci d'artista, Salerno in light.
