GoAbroad

The Senior 50+ course is a package that includes the Standard course and excursions/activities and is aimed at adults who want to share their language study experience with people of the same age. However, lessons are held with students across a wider age group (not only 50+), with the same level of Italian. Lessons focus on grammar, conversation, and some social and cultural aspects of Italy. The coursework includes 4 classes a day, from 9:00 to 13:00 with a break at 11:00. Each lesson lasts 55 minutes and the class schedule may change depending on availability and the season. Activities and excursions happen in the afternoon, bringing seniors to locations such as Sorrento, Paestum, and Agropoli. After-school activities may include tours through historical Salerno, cooking classes with a professional chef, or lunches and degustations. Our Senior 50+ course has a minimum of 4 participants. If this number isn't reached, students only take the standard course and book excursions separately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do trips usually take place?

The trips are all around the Salerno area. Of course, the program depends on the season. Usually, we have boat trips around the Amalfi coast during the summer. We also organize trips to Sorrento, Agropoli, and Paestum. We also arrange cooking courses or lunches and wine tasting! We always have something ready for students.

How are the lessons structured?

During the lessons, you will study all aspects of the Italian language - writing, speaking, grammar, and listening.

Are all the teachers native Italians?

Yes! All of them are Italians with years of experience. Many of them are not only native Italians, but they are also natives of Salerno. So they will not only teach you the perfect Italian language. They can also give tips on what to do in your free time and where the best pasta is!
