What inspired you to work for English Wizards?

My passion for learning new cultures inspired me to work at English Wizards, where I can immerse myself in diverse cultural narratives. This role allows me to connect with individuals from various backgrounds, each bringing unique experiences and perspectives. How do your degree and international experience help you be an effective Client Success Specialist?

I leverage my degree in Anthropology and international background in my current role by applying my deep understanding of cultural dynamics and cross-cultural communication. This education equips me to navigate diverse perspectives effectively, fostering better relationships and collaboration with people from various backgrounds.

What are some current projects you are working on?

Currently, I'm focused on arranging the arrival support for our teachers this month. My tasks include coordinating logistics to ensure their safe arrival and preparing everything they need for a smooth transition. This involves managing accommodations, transportation, and necessary resources to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

What advice would you give your pre-travel self?

I’d tell my pre-travel self to embrace every moment with an open mind and heart. Be curious and stay adaptable, as flexibility will lead to the most rewarding experiences. Remember that every challenge is an opportunity for growth and learning. Savor each experience, both the highs and the lows, and build connections with the people you meet along the way—they’ll enrich your journey in ways you can't foresee. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, as it's often outside those boundaries that you discover the most about yourself and the world.

What do you hope participants take away from your programs?

I hope participants take away a fulfilling life in Poland, where they find success and satisfaction in their jobs and feel genuinely at home. Our programs aim to help them integrate smoothly into their new environment, build meaningful connections, and achieve both personal and professional happiness. We want them to feel supported, valued, and inspired as they embark on this new chapter of their lives.

If you could participate in one of your programs, where would you go and what would you do?

If I could participate in one of our organization’s programs, I would choose to be a teacher. With my background in teaching ESL online and my deep love for cultures, I’d relish immersing myself in a classroom setting in Poland. This role would allow me to share my passion for education and cultural exchange while gaining firsthand experience of the teaching environment and cultural dynamics in Poland. It would be an enriching experience to blend my skills and interests in a new and meaningful way.

Why is it important for people to travel abroad and experience new cultures?

Traveling abroad and experiencing new cultures is important because it adds excitement and richness to life, offering opportunities for personal growth and discovery. It helps people understand and appreciate different ways of living, fostering empathy and broadening perspectives. By bridging cultural gaps, travel promotes global understanding and connection, enriching our world with shared experiences and diverse viewpoints.

It’s about immersing yourself in different cultures, gaining insights into diverse perspectives, and building friendships that enrich your journey and life. This kind of travel goes beyond sightseeing; it’s about creating lasting memories and deepening your understanding of the world and its people.

I'm really happy to meet new people, get to know them, and help them as much as I can. I also wanted to gain experiences that I could use for my university studies. I'm pursuing a bachelor's degree in English Philology, and I have only 1 year left!
