Our vision is to support the work of local community organizations in developing countries through the placement of international volunteers. We believe that local communities are in the best position to determine their needs, and we provide volunteers to help them achieve their goals.

Our projects in Peru are available for anyone interested in volunteering in the developing world, including those on a college summer break, gap year, career break or volunteer vacation.

Kaya aims to bring together the quality and impact of grass roots projects with the breadth of choice, quality of structure and organization and level of service that enables everyone the opportunity to contribute to positive action and enjoy traveling the world more responsibly.

The majority of our volunteer and internship projects take place in Cusco, Peru, San Jose, Costa Rica, and La Antigua, Guatemala.

Through grassroots initiatives we make real efforts to help achieve the well being, the human growth and the economical sustainability of children and families living in depressed areas of Peru.

Global Works trips offer meaningful cultural exchange and community service for teenagers. Your group will work, play, and celebrate with communities and families around the world.

Touring, trekking and camping are weekend pastimes. We explore the ruins of Ollantaytambo, the mysterious rings of Moray, and Pisaq market where merchants have been selling their wares for over four centuries. In Cusco we discover gilded art adorning Spanish Cathedrals, walk historic Plaza de Armas and browse the shops.
