Spend the summer in the city of Paris with AIFS Abroad. You’ll earn up to 6 credits studying at the Cours de Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne (CCFS). Courses are taught in English and French, with no prior French language study required. Academic program options include the French Language Program and the Intensive French Language Program. Live in a Parisian homestay or, for an additional fee, live in a student residence. Homestay students will receive a typical French breakfast daily, plus a meal allowance to subsidize the cost of purchasing meals. If you live in a student residence, you will receive breakfast and an allowance for five other meals per week. Cultural activities include: • Guided walking tours • Half-day sightseeing in Paris • Visits to museums and cultural sites • Boat trips

Your choices of institutions are the American Business School Paris (ABSP), the Cours de Civilization Française de la Sorbonne (CCFS), and the Institut Catholique de Paris. All courses, except French language and some culture courses, are taught in English by guest lecturers and international professors. Our Paris office is located in the Latin Quarter, across the Seine River from the Notre Dame Cathedral. It’s also ideal for students aiming to pursue higher education in France. The program is structured to help you reach a B2 level in French—the minimum language requirement for admission into most French universities. At the end of the course, you’ll have the opportunity to take the official DELF exam. With 15 hours of French classes per week, the program offers the flexibility to balance your studies with part-time work. As an international student in France, you're allowed to work up to 964 hours per year (approximately 20 hours per week), giving you the chance to gain valuable experience while supporting your stay.
