Spanish Immersion and Fun Tico Culture!

This program is perfect for students of every level, from those who have never studied the language to those who have finished four years of high school Spanish. After a short evaluation, you will be divided into groups according to skill level. Classes are taught by native speakers who are trained to teach Spanish to foreigners. The program includes four hours of classroom time each week day and focuses heavily on Spanish conversational skills. Youll live with a friendly Costa Rican family while youre here. This carefully supervised home stay will give you a window into Costa Rican family life and enhance both the linguistic and cultural aspects of your trip.

Tropical Adventure
When not in class, fun adventures and excursions in and around Turrialba will encourage you to practice Spanish in a variety of contexts and help you develop a broad vocabulary and a deep understanding of Costa Rican culture. Whether rappelling down waterfalls, zip lining through the forest, going for a horseback ride through the mountains (optional activities), or taking a heart-pumping ride on the rapids of the world-famous Pacuare River, you will love the natural wonders of Costa Rica!
