Looking to make a meaningful difference while growing personally and professionally? Join CLEF’s volunteer program in Togo and support grassroots efforts led by a local women’s NGO dedicated to gender equality, women’s empowerment, and sustainable development in underserved communities. As a volunteer, you’ll work alongside local women leaders and community members on projects in education, health, environment, economic empowerment, and human rights. Placements are in both rural and semi-urban areas, including towns like Aneho, Kpalimé, and Lomé, depending on the nature of your work. The program welcomes volunteers aged 18 and older from all backgrounds. Ideal candidates have an interest or background in gender studies, international development, education, public health, or related fields. Basic French skills are strongly recommended. Placements start at two weeks and may be extended up to six months or longer. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact in a culturally vibrant region of West Africa.
