YWAM Toowoomba

The School of Worship & Prayer (SWAP) is a second-level YWAM course designed to cultivate a lifestyle of worship and prayer. The program includes a three-month Lecture Phase and an optional two-month Outreach Phase, offering students an immersive internship experience focused on spiritual growth, intimacy with God, and ministry training.

During the Lecture Phase, students deepen their understanding of God, His Word, and His world through teaching, community living, and practical training. The school creates intentional space for prayer, worship, personal transformation, and renewed purpose. Participants are equipped not only with biblical knowledge but also with hands-on ministry experience.

Throughout the internship, students serve in various ministry roles, such as staffing DTS or SWAP schools, supporting prayer room ministry, or joining other outreach teams. At YWAM Toowoomba, interns also contribute to essential community roles, including kitchen, hospitality, media, maintenance, and administration. SWAP prepares individuals to carry worship and prayer into their communities and the nations while developing servant-hearted leadership and a deeper relationship with God.
