Your participation directly fuels conservation—from habitat restoration and wildlife research to anti-poaching support and community upliftment. You’ll assist with surveys, bioblitzes, and small mammal trapping to document unrecorded species, while also planting trees, restoring landscapes, and creating wild spaces for rhinos, giraffes, elephants, and the tiny suni antelope. With groups capped at just 9, this is no tourist trip; it’s an immersive conservation mission. What will I be doing?
You’ll take part in genuine, hands-on conservation efforts, including fieldwork on the reserve, bird ringing and biodiversity monitoring, wildlife interventions, as well as conservation education, safaris, and becoming part of the Wild Tomorrow team.
Do I need vaccinations?
Our area is not in a malaria zone; however, we recommend consulting your doctor for recommended vaccinations. We suggest bringing a personal first-aid kit with your usual medications.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes! Travel insurance is mandatory and should cover: medical emergencies & evacuations, safari & wildlife activities, and trip cancellations.
We recommend World Nomads (we are an affiliate, and it covers adventure activities) or Allianz.
What's included?
Program cost includes the following:
- Airport pickup & drop-off (Richards Bay Regional Airport)
- 13 nights of accommodation (lodges, tented camps, or beach cottages)
- All meals (breakfast, picnic lunches, and dinner)

How much is the trip?
The total price is $3,950, broken down as:
- $1,950 — Trip Costs (accommodation, food, transport, safari)
- $2,000 — Tax-Deductible Donation supporting conservation efforts you will be a part of (crowdfunding available!)
