A Journey of Personal and Professional Growth
July 29, 2026by: Alicia Cruz - MexicoMoving abroad has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It has challenged me in ways I never expected and helped me grow both personally and professionally. Working in the United States has allowed me to meet people from different cultures, improve my communication skills, and gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry. Every day has been an opportunity to learn something new, become more independent, and build confidence in myself. Of course, living away from my family has not always been easy, but it has made me appreciate them even more and has taught me resilience and adaptability. Looking back, I can say that every challenge has been worth it because it has shaped me into a stronger and more capable person. I am truly grateful for this opportunity. It has opened doors, broadened my perspective, and inspired me to continue pursuing new goals. I would encourage anyone considering an experience abroad to take the chance—it is an unforgettable journey that helps you grow in ways you never imagined.
