Program Overview

In the heart of KwaZulu-Natal's Drakensberg, near Winterton, a community is working to create a safe, nurturing space for its youngest children. This initiative, rooted in education and community upliftment, reflects a shared belief that children should be defined by their potential, not their circumstances.

Across the weekend, your time moves between the resort and the build. After breakfast at Champagne Sports Resort, you will transfer to Meadowsweet Combined School, where the focus is on constructing a permanent, safe early-learning centre for 60 children. You will work alongside local youth and partners on the build and share lunch on-site, seeing the difference your hands make. There is room to breathe, too: a guided hike into the Drakensberg, an afternoon open for leisure, and evenings to relax, connect with fellow volunteers, and reflect on the day's work.

One community. One space of hope. One shared vision.
